The worst hostel experience I’ve ever had. After a sleepless night because of a serious disturbance in my room, I came back for a couple of hours after checking out, exhausted and with a headache. While sitting quietly on the couch with a hot drink, a staff member shouted at me in front of everyone, “HEY, DON’T SLEEP HERE!” I wasn’t even asleep. I felt completely humiliated and left immediately. I understand that there may be rules after check-out, but there is a respectful and professional way to speak to guests. Shouting at someone and publicly embarrassing them is definitely not it.

I stayed for just two days; the location is good—close to the city center and the coast. The bed was comfortable—perfect for getting some rest—and the staff were very friendly. The beds were clean, and you are provided with fresh sheets and a towel upon arrival. It is quite close to the train station (about a 10-minute walk), which is convenient if you want to avoid taking a taxi from the airport. They also have luggage storage available if you arrive early and want to drop off your bags before check-in.

I loved the community and staff were super nice. The beds were really creaky and loud every time I moved. I also would’ve liked to be shown where the facilities were that I was allowed to use once I checked in. I didn’t know I could use a fridge

The amenities were actually amazing, game room, integrated bar, music, cinema, very cool! I felt certain way about the staff bartender, I bought something and I said thank you to which I didn’t get a reply back, so I thought that it was very rude, second, the fact that I had to do my bed whilst I was a bit tired made me feel think twice.

For the most part it was tidy and staff approachable. First shared room was an absolute tip. Someone definitely living in there, not simply staying. Very strict regarding 2pm check-in. Having to make a top bunk in the dark after 9pm is an OHS hazard. For the price, top bunks should be cheaper or at least pre-made. As I couldn't check-in after 12pm and couldn't get back to my room until after 9pm, I ended up in the room for less thab 7hours. Not worth it I had a much nicer experience last time. Now it's like most other Perth hostels. I shouldn't have to ask to move rooms due to the mess.
