Metro Hotel Perth City

The room really needed a good clean. The bedding was fine, but otherwise things were very grimy. The chairs were covered in old crumbs and stains, the carpet needed vacuuming, clearly nobody had looked under the bed in a while because there was a lot of rubbish under there, and the whole room had a strange smell. The light in the bathroom didn't work. The shower was either scolding hot for 20 seconds or freezing cold. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything happening in neighboring rooms and the hallway - not a place for light sleepers. Reading through past reviews these are all things that have been previously raised by other guests and despite the hotel's responses, have not been addressed.

Location and breakfast was great My room smelled like musty and like smoke. There was a stain on one of the pillows and hair in the shower.

Was clean and tidy According to price there was not drinking water provide at the arrived at the room. At least 1 or 2 bottles of water in the room. Also, when we arrived at the hotel, they gave us room key and not helping for luggage to the room

Good location. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, room small but clean.

The staffwent out of their way to help and assist us to have a very pleasant stay. They even card for our small native plant purchases while we were away from Perth. The wiFi was patchy.

Was a bit noisy. Other guests could be heard talking loudly at times through the night.

Location was good, right in the city and close to things. Very quiet, easy to go to sleep. The first night we parked our rental car on the street due to there being no spaces left in the hotel garage due to the very limited spaces. The street parking times start from 8am for an hour so you can leave or move your car by 9am. The bathroom was like it had been cleaned quickly, we found body hairs and little bits still lying around. There were always people sitting around the back entrance to the garage area smoking cigarettes which wasn't nice.

Was clean and the location The afternoon reception was very rude to my partner. Didn't believe she was staying there questions about the booking that she didn't know as I made the booking. Then when I walked in to answer his questions not a word his attitude was he didn't want to be there and it reflected 26/7/25

A very dated room, uncomfortable mattress and pillows , tatty worn furniture, ripped curtains and fly screen.

Cold showers, mold in shower, always linen trolleys in the hall way,

The location was ok close enough to the city and the did have a last minute booking. The room is pretty standard Stained carpet, noisy air conditioner. Low water pressure shower

Spacious room. Friendly staff. Close to amenities in the city. Very clean. One lift was out of action but no big deal really.

Convenient location, free parking and WiFi. Rooms are dated and bed was small.

Comfy beds, good location, parking available Run down facilities, wait for lift as only one in service, bathroom needed a deep clean. If facilities not upgraded the price needs to be lowered.

Good location for access to river, city, Optus and Burswood
