My absolute favorite place to stay in Petaluma! Comfy accommodations and just an overall great vibe. Love it

Located close to or at downtown . Parking was a hassle since one needs to park at a structure 2 blocks away . The staff was helpful . The lobby-bar area was quite attractive and cozy. The room however was very small .

However, if you decide to stay there avoid room 201 and likely 301 and 401. These rooms are next to the traffic light and every time someone pushes the button to use the crosswalk, when the light changes there is a loud cuckoo-like noice repeated three or four times. It is particularly clear in room 201 where you soon feel like you're inside a cuckoo clock. We already knew the hotel was fully booked, so asking for another room would have been a waste of time. The gentleman checking us in was so fatigued he was having problems processing people between yawns. A second guy arrived and said he'd help in a minute, but he never did. He seemed to be amused by his phone while his colleague struggled, but did check four parties in. The overall impression was of high schoolers running the show. Our room was clean and included a coffee maker and complimentary biscuits. The shower pressure was low and not very hot, but it was sufficient. If you like soap bars, bring your own. The location is great and Petaluma's downtown has some fun antique shops and boutiques. There are also a lot of good restaurants and some fun bars. We love historic hotels but if we ever return to this one, we definitely won't accept room 201.

An Historical beauty and surpise. Well worth visiting. Parking can be challenging.

Beautiful, quaint, and very clean hotel. The location is prime. Loved our stay. We will be back!

The rooms were small but the bed was comfortable. Parking was a pain.

We had an amazing two night stay here. So clean and beautiful and in such a great location. A French bakery and restaurant on the property and the downtown was beautiful! We will be staying here again in the future.

Loved the vibe. Kept the anachronistic style without sacrificing modern conveniences.

Everything was great except our room was 86° when the AC wasn't working. The room stayed warm up until about 5am then we noticed a couple hours where we felt cool. The kitchen staff was very loud at 11pm and 5am waking us up and the trash service ran at 4 am crashing the dumpsters around. Our sleep was interrupted multiple times each evening. My husband ended up in the ER due the lack of sleep and stress.

The customer service at this hotel is horrendous! The manager was extremely unhelpful. We only made reservations at this hotel because they promised us 2 rooms next to each other. When we arrived their computer system was down so it was understandable that the notes could not be seen that we needed adjacent rooms, but when we talked to the manager, she was completely rude. She offered no other solutions, compensation, not even an I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Her reply was too bad, you can check out if you want to. We are extremely disappointed by our experience.

If you check in after 12 but before the official check in time there is a $25 charge. There was a large dog barking in the room across from me. This place could do better.

We stopped by the bar later in the evening and could only get beer or wine because the bartender had gone home. Only one elevator. If the cleaning staff are moving their cart between floors you have to wait for the next one or take the stairs. Overall it filled the need for us but does need some TLC!

We only stayed one night and we all wished it had been longer. The property was beautiful, located in a great spot in Petaluma and the room itself was so nice with the most comfortable beds and pillows. We would absolutely recommend

The elevator was broken and there is little to no parking. There is no valet and no bellman.
