Friendly and helpful staff Wifi - while good in general - had some glitches and slowdowns on one night.

I liked everything.

We only stayed one night, but it ended up being one of the most memorable parts of the trip. Everything felt intentional, from the room setup to how smoothly the stay was handled. They surprised me with a birthday cake, which was a thoughtful touch, and had breakfast ready for us before we left for the airport. Short stay, but it left a strong impression.

Cute hotel in a central place

Room with private pool was a nice option. Location was great! The bar seating area was at carpark entrance. Outside dining overlooked carpark. Limited opening at cocktail bar.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bella Nara. -- The location is great, on the beach road with many small businesses, restaurants, etc. all around. A short walk brings you to the beach, with soft white sand and turquoise waters. Many families stay at the Bella Nara because the location makes it great for kids. -- The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful, even though the hotel (and the entire town) was swamped during the February peak season. (If you speak Russian you will have no shortage of conversation partners. The Chinese tourists, however, seem to go to other parts of Phuket; they were not in evidence in Nai Yang.) -- Everything was spotlessly clean. (I don't know how new the building really is, but it sure looked pretty new.) -- The housekeeping staff were very helpful in cleaning our room when we put out the "please clean" sign. -- The hotel facilities were excellent for a mid-range hotel. The gym and pool were lovely and not super-crowded. We ate a midday meal in the restaurant and the food was quite good. Two things that were less than ideal: the bed in our room was harder than we are accustomed to, and the (reasonably-priced) breakfast buffet was not particularly delicious or inspiring.

Breakfast was average, lacking quality and choice. The room I had was quite close to a bar/restaurant that started boom, boom boom - loud 'music' from 2100 hrs until midnight, meant I had to sleep with earplugs, very annoying

Could have Sauna, Steam Gym Nothing

The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and there was a ton of excitement right outside the hotel: restaurants and bars. I liked that the chair on the balcony was comfortable. We were upgraded to a room with a larger bathroom, which was nice. The room was large. The complex was a little confusing and the hotel bar was piled high with boxes, making it a less comfortable place to relax.

1. Room cleaning stuff is actually quite great even though they don’t speak much English, we have communicated through the translator. 2. My husband blocked his back during his stay and stuff instantly provided us with the crutches. The hotel is definitely not 5 starts … 1. Have never seen the 5 star hotel without a coffee machine in the room, but the cheap dissolving coffee sticks; 2. For 5 stars hotel the stuff’s English level is quite poor … when you come with the basic problem like “the ac doesn’t work” it’s fine, but becomes way more complicated when it starts to go “off the script” so communicating actually adds stress to the stay as it seems like the receptionist just starts to panic and simply waits for you to tell “it’s ok”, it’s not ok though for the money payed … Quick situation - the toilet paper in hotel is really poor quality like it literally melts in your as* so we have bought our own. Next day the cleaning comes, the toilet paper is gone, we call to the reception, I explain the problem calmly and ask like 5 times if they understand the issue, they say of course and surprise the cleaning girl brings us more of their bad-quality paper. When we ask where is ours as we kinda paid for it … “I will talk to the cleaning manager”. You might guess that no one ever came back to us … ah yeah and the new bought roll of paper was also changed the next day … 3. New Year was quite a joke - we have arrived and our places were taken. So they just had us standing in the middle of the tables while I told like 5 times that my husband has back problems and needs to sit asap. Surprise - surprise they have put us on the places of other people that were really confused why we are sitting on their places - “great vibe, very relaxing”… food was not great and we had to ask to redo drinks couple times because it wasn’t what we ordered. All of that was supposed to cost 5500bath no drinks included … 4. We had cockroaches in the bathroom. 5. Water in the sink was stucked all the time. 6. If your neighbor has food poisoning at 4am in the morning - you will become reeeeally involved in the process .. 7.

Not enough seating at the lobby when many guests at the same time. Not enough outlets in the room.
