Furniture and bed linen were old. Room was very dark and not very inviting. No cooking facilities.

This accommodation is for romantic people who seek peace and who enjoy nature. The accommodation is beautiful with an exotic design and is in the middle of a beautiful botanical tropical garden, and breakfast is served by the lovely Maria and her husband under the shade of Washingtonian palm trees that are more than 20 meters high. This was a unique wonderful experience for us.

The hostes was amazing and was willing to help in every question.

La Gallina Felice was the place of rest and tranquility we needed at the end of a long trip.

So welcoming and helpful and What amazing gardens

La Gallina Felice is a lovely quiet oasis set within Meta. Maria and her husband are such a lovely couple, were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. The room is perfect, comfortable, well equipped and clean, set within the beautiful gardens of Maria's home. Breakfast served every morning on the terrace was lovely and set us up for the day. A couple of mornings when we weren't there for breakfast, Maria kindly made up a breakfast box to take with us. Great restaurants and the beach are within walking distance and Sorrento just minutes away by car. The private parking is a bonus. We would not hesitate in recommending La Gallina Felice as a base for exploring the Amalfi Coast.

Easily reachable from Naples by train, a perfect base to explore Sorento, Capri and the Amalfi-coast. The rooms are located inside a lush garden where you can enjoy your breakfast on the veranda, a good place to relax with a good book. The owners, including Emma the dog, are lovely, making your stay a wonderful experience.

The garden was beautiful, the hosts were super friendly, great location, the apartment had everything I needed at a good price. It was humid as the previous reviews stated so unable to dry clothes and they get a bit damp. Also, have to be extremely quiet if you have guests in the unit beside you since the walls are paper thin. If you're someone like me who likes to listen to music while getting ready it might not be ideal.

We loved this location and the hosts. Maria and Salvadore were exceptional hosts... the gardens were sensational, and the exploring on the property alone made us feel very zen. Breakfast each and every day was just perfect and set us up each day for success. We loved talking about Canada and Italian life with them, and they were very welcoming. If you are looking for a spot that is quiet and affordable... this is it... your in for an experience. That we didn't plan to stay here longer.

Maria and her husband Salvatore were so helpful and lovely. You could see wherever you turn their creative detail. The amazing gardens are a testament to a lifetime of hard work and love of nature and gorgeous landscaping. Breakfast was very nice with fresh fruit, baked specialties and homemade jam. It was set up on our porch every morning surrounded by exotic trees and plants. We enjoyed our 4day stay immensely. They treated you like family and we would love to return one day. Nothing

Exceptional

The location was perfect , near to the centre of Meta but surrounded by an amazing garden behind electric gates so totally peaceful. Car parking was available too. The owner , Maria was a wonderful host. Perhaps yogurt and fresh fruit at breakfast would be a welcome addition.

Everything was just perfect. The room is very cosy and clean, the location is very close to bus and train station so everything is at hand so you can move around and visit the Amalfi coast. But the best part is the story that you will find there. You will meet Maria, an amazing and inspiring person, a great storyteller and the keeper of her magical garden. She has put her heart and soul in her garden, nurturing it for more than 40 years. So, don't miss the opportunity to stay in this magical place from where for sure you will leave full of good energy. Surrounded by a life long love of nature. This beautiful garden is for you to explore and enjoy after a busy day sightseeing. Wonderful breakfast sitting on the verandah and taking in the lovely garden. Great way to start your day. Hosts have all the information for you to help get the most out of your days. Train and bus stop close. We stayed 6 nights and would definitely stay again. Thank you Maria and Salvatore for sharing. We enjoyed the unique stay with you.

Everything Nothing

The place is amazing. A magic and beautiful house full of nature near the sea. Maria and her husband are adorable, definitely if i come back to Amalfi Coast i will stay again at their house. They made us feel at home and everything is cute and comfy. We think that Maria and her husband offered a great experience sharing with us their mood of life. The house has big gardens that are gorgeous. They also have a dog called Emma that is very friendly and i felt in love of my new friend Popper (a cat that is from the neighbors but i think that he prefers living at Maria’s house because of the great energy that is in there). She also prepares breakfast everyday at the time you want and everything is delicious. THANK YOU FOR MARIA, HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!

Quiet and central. Easy to get into Sorrento and to the train station. Also the various animals on the property made it feel homely and relaxing.
