Astron Hotel

The lady in reception and the man taking care of the property were very friendly. The water in the room is the worst quality I’ve seen in my life and the rooms seem to have not been updated for over 30 years. Uncomfortable and unsafe for a family with small children as the bed is above in a Karpathian style.

Location is great, 15 minute walk from city center, but far from the crowd. Bathrooms look renovated, but we had a room with a really bad smell that came from shower drain. Also, regarding the bathrooms, you don’t get any shampoo or shower gel. Generally hotel doesn’t look very clean. Wi-fi was very poor. Breakfast buffet is till 10h, but if you come at 9:15, you might take only what’s left, because they stopped refilling trays before that. Food is not good either. Rooms have air conditioner, but if you want remote control to turn it on, you have to pay for that. Refrigerator is next to bed, and it’s very loud, so if you’re a light sleeper, you’ll probably have to turn it off at night. We read the reviews before we booked this hotel, so we were ready for not so great service, but still it looks like non of the staff cares at all.

Proximity to downtown Rooms not clean, patchy WiFi could not do work or connect properly on phone, ants all over the place and when we first told them they did nothing about it, room was run down and rusty appliances, the owner was rude. The only good thing were the maids, they were very personable and friendly.

We had a nice comfortable stay at the Astron. Lovely pool area with plenty of sun-beds. Staff are kind & helpful. Excellent value for money.

Very clean. Swimming pool was fantastic. Rooms were ok , a little small. We thought we had a room facing the pool area but this was not the case. A bit far from main town - especially in the heat. One staff member not particularly helpful , it seemed he was one of the guests. Example - gave him our kettle which did not work. Didn’t offer to replace it and said couldn’t do anything until the office , which was 10 feet away opened the next day. Asked the same person to help with location that we were having trouble with , said it was too difficult to explain

The room was clean, and the hotel had a large swimming pool. The biggest drawback of the room was that it had old wooden frames.No security!!! The door wouldn't lock from the inside or the outside Both under the door and the balcony door had gaps, allowing air to enter. No soundproofing!! The room size was small,the bathroom was renovated but lacked ventilation,and there was no shampoo or shower gel. The mattress was probably very worn as it had indentations. The breakfast for the price of this room at 123€/night was very poor. The staff was indifferent except for the woman at the reception who was very polite! Under no circumstances was our stay worth 123 euros per night!!!!

Nice location very poor services provided! there is not air conditioning in the reception area and the dining room. no shampoo or shower gel in the room! Neither a hairdryer! Swimming pool but no towels! I wouldn't recommend it especially at these rates!

Exceptional

The rooms are cute and the beds are confortable. There is a lot of space and we had also a terrasse. The breakfast could be improved. It was very basic for the prixe

The bed was very comfortable and the room was always clean. Nice hotel and friendly stuf. I believe that the breakfast have some more opportunities. I would love to find some washing products in the room ( shampoo, body wash and lotion)

The pool area. Ants in the room and on the bed. The air condition wasnt working properly.
