The room was small but beautifully decorated. And it had every accessory one could think of wanting to use. But what really made this a place that I would return to was the staff. The desk staff went above and beyond any other place that I’ve visited - and I have traveled a lot over the years. The room is a bit small.

The welcoming staff, aura and decor, breakfast, and location made our first visit to Europe beautiful. No need to get a car, we walked from Pisa Centrale to Hotel Balogna when we arrived the first day. We walked everywhere, all of the sites that make Pisa so special. The hotel van drove us to the train Centrale and to the Airport at the end of our adventure in Pisa for a nominal fee. Breakfast was amazing. This is a gem in a small historic area that won’t be forgotten. Grazie Mille. Our 2 night stay this week our shower leaked a lot and the shower was very small. Suggestion, to have have homemade baked goods that are GF- Senze glutene. Grazie!

Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We stayed two different nights (one at beginning of our Italy journey and one at the end). The first room was good. The second was excellent. Location wonderful. Really nothing. The only thing was the instructions for parking was a little confusing. We had to enter a ZTL zone, but they give you a permit. You literally drive up to the front door and turn in a tiny archway to park.

The hotel was in a good location, just a 10 minute walk from the station and easy vwalking to main attractions. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pleasant. Room was clean and tidy. We went in a June summer heat wave and the room air con struggled, looked a bit dated.

Food was very good. Location great. I didn’t like the fact that the mattresses were wrapped in plastic; it wasn’t very pleasant.

Very convenient location, easy walk from train station and equidistant to the Tower of Pisa/Piaza dei Miracoli. Also, easy to get to the river and all the restaurants and shops and they gave us a great pizza reccomendation as well as some other restaurant recomendations. Staff was overly polite and helpful, even made us to go breakfast because we took the free airport shuttle at 7:00 when they open the kitchen. Room set up was comfortable and convenient as well.Nothing fancy but clean and everything worked, with great air conditioning! It was perfect for our one night stay.

Hotel Bologna is centrally located and provides parking. They have a nice restaurant and the rooms are spacious. The staff helped us navigate Pisa and gave us a map showing us places of interest within walking distance. The breakfast was good too.

Our room had a small window and felt dark and dated. The bathroom was brighter and was recently updated

room was basic, but the air conditioning worked properly. Breakfast was ok but standard.

Due to big water problem, we couldn't stay in the hotel. The hotel did arrange a shuttle service and a room in a different hotel. The staff was friendly and polite. The replacement hotel was too far away from the central location we expected for the one night stay in Pisa despite the shuttle service the hotel offered, so we had to find another hotel last minute.
