    Great experience

The location of this property is beautiful but get access to the same view from the other hotels next to it. We stayed in a family suite for 6 days paid over $3000. This place is NOT a resort. Parking area aka first impression is dirty, power washing would go a long way. They have one person at the front desk ONE! We had to request house keeping 2x and one of the days you can tell they started housekeeping and then stop midway leaving the king size bedroom in the family suite dirty. Took all the towels and blankets. I had to request a vacuum, cleaning solution, and blankets and towels to get the room in order. We have three young kids so things get messy quick. Also if I wanted Airbnb vibes I would stay in an Airbnb. Be prepared to be able to hear everything from the room above! Everything!!!! So if you decide to start ask for a top floor room. Only person who showed a shred of professionalism and hospitality was Samantha at the front desk. Joey the manager ( don’t think he is) was suppose to call me and never did, we were given the wrong room. One dining room area for essentially two hotels = super busy, messy, and runs out fast. Pool view is great and access to the beach is beautiful but you can get the same at the other hotels next to this place.

This has been one of the greatest hotel I’ve stayed in Pismo beach

Our room was upgraded to an ocean-view front room on the second floor. Beautifully decorated clean room - loved our room. The weather was perfect and we had a wonderful time staying at Pacific Point!

It was our second stay at this hotel. The hotel had undergone a recent renovation, and our room was exceptionally well-designed. The separate sinks for the his and her were a great feature. The room was very clean. The amenities included flip-flops for both, two drinking bottles, and a robe.

    The light

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Not worth the price of admission ... The hotel looks like it's still under construction but the rates didn't reflect it. When entering our room, some of the furniture was still stacked on top of one another as if they rushed out after laying new carpet and forgot that guests were coming. The hallway walls had several patches that had yet to be painted. Some of the fire pits ran out of propane. When I requested to get them lit (they were locked up), it took over 45 minutes (and 3 separate requests) to get assistance. Other than the bed, the furniture was uncomfortable, including the balcony chairs, and the decor itself did not reflect that of a $700/night hotel room.

Just the view but everything else is bad. The whole place smell like birds poop and it’s a very old building even with the renovation still very old.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

The scenery The breakfast is too small and crowed and the fire pits outside 3 out of 4 didn’t work.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

It was nice having breakfast every morning. There are fire pits on site and corn hole games. The pool was nice and clean.

Rooms were beautiful, and the view was fantastic! The free breakfast was great, but it definitely got super busy later in the morning. It was also a short walk down the stairs to the beach, where we explored the caves! We could also see the beach Mandalas every morning from our room. We had a lovely stay. Parking was pretty tough at night, but thankfully they let us use the parking next to the Ventana Grill, though it can be quite the walk. Also, there are a ton of birds and bird poop near the cliffs, but that is totally out of their control. I loved the wildlife, but if you don't like the smell of bird poo, then I'd request a room facing the Pismo Beach area vs. facing the ocean! :)

And lot of places to sit and view, the birds were so cool to see. The smell was terrible from the birds And poop everywhere. Breakfast had a lot of variety and it was great until I found a long hair in my oatmeal, kind of ruin it for me. But my wife and son thought it was good. Bed felt ok but my back hurt when I woke up Probably over paid this one.

This was our second time staying at this properly and haven’t been disappointed. Beautiful resort, kind staff, free breakfast with coffee 24/7, and location/views are amazing!! Highly recommend this resort.

The hotel was under construction which we were not told. The staff was great. The hotels elevator was out of service and the rooms had a very bad sulfur smell.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

New renonvated rooms, great view of the ocean and many birds, nice breakfast, across from Pismo preserve. Things to know - many birds, so if you are sensitive to the smell, guano, or have other bird-related concern, take this into account. Not walkable to sandy beaches and downtown (an advantage or disadvantage...).

Beautiful place to spend your weekend!

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

The location was great! The food was good It was advertised as having a kitchenette. There was no sink in the kitchen. There were bikes but you had to wash things in the bathroom.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

We were excited about the newly renovated property, but it appears the bare minimum was done. Simple touches would go a long way like having a door jam instead of a 2 inch gap where bugs crawl in under the front door. Bathroom soap shelves are leaning so you have shampoo bottles falling on you as you shower. The amenities like the pool and kids games are nice, but sitting outside smells like dead fish from all of the pelican poop. Just want to be honest since I paid $766 for our room and felt the money would have been better spent elsewhere.
