This hotel is nice. It’s right on the beach and a short walking distance to the boardwalk and strip of shops. Parking is easy. My only complaint is that the walls are a little thin, so you can hear your neighbors. Our room was located right next to the ice machine, so it’s starts getting loud around 7 am. Otherwise, the hotel is great and we’d stay there again.

Good location and the hotel is nice. Our room was on ground floor which meant people milling about outside our room window and also no safe in room which was a bit annoying. Otherwise a nice hotel with a perfect position on Pismo beach.

Perfect location and very friendly staff. Their room space is a bit small and need more maintenance, but I cant ask more for none big corp hotels city.

This was the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Sandcastle with our family and it solidified our decision to make this an annual tradition. The beautiful rooms, cafe area, extremely helpful and friendly staff, beach amenities (chairs, towels, toys) and super easy walk to beach are what sell it. Next door is a large nice resort as well but we love Sandcastle much more because of its intimate and personal ambiance. Shyloh at the cafe was our favorite, so helpful and friendly - but everyone we encountered were welcoming and helpful. It’s rare to find this service and we will absolutely be back many times to come!

Unfortunatly, I didn't have a great experience at Sandcastle hotle in Pismo Beach. For the price, i expected much better overall quality and service. In my opinion, the hotel is signifacantly overpriced for what it offerrs. I hope they take guest feedbackseripusly andmake improvement.

Unfortunately, I forgot my purse at the facility and had to pay the shipping for it to be shipped to me via FedEx $50 and it was supposed to be a 2 day turn around. We’re going on two weeks. I have not been shipped my package my property it still sitting at the counter, apparently the manager is the only one to make this happen even though I paid the fee for it to be shipped back to me. I keep getting the runaround when I’m trying to get a hold of James the manager I have not gotten any return phone calls after leaving multiple vm. It’s frustrating when nothing can be done and there’s no type of understanding on their end. We stayed there for a weekend and paid a good amount to stay there. We’ve traveled to multiple hotels and never had an issue like this. I expected a lot better from this hotel it’s frustrating and disappointing . I hope this is never an issue for anyone else that stays here.

The outdoor deck areas are perfect for hanging out and their conveniently located bar/food is open most hours of day and night.

Great location right next to the beach, but unfortunately, that was the only positive. The mattresses and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the room had an unpleasant smell. We barely slept and definitely would not pay to stay here again.

This hotel was perfect for our stay. It was really nice, the amenities were wonderful. They gave us a credit for each day for $10 to go towards food or drinks at their on site restaurant. They had a nice balcony lounge area over looking the pier and ocean with fire pits and heaters available. The proximity to the ocean was prefect literally 3 ft away. The pier was just a few feet away from that which was wonderful. Traveling to most of the things around Pismo this location was perfect for rather driving or walking. The rooms were nice and spacious just like on the site. You do have to pay to park and the parking isn't bad but we also went during the week when it was less busy. I would definitely be going back to visit and hopefully stay here.
