Pleasant check-in to a pretty and quiet property. The room is basic but it's what I booked. Pretty clean, and no mosquitoes in room. Quiet both inside the property and out. AC works well and runs smoothly. Closet with a few hangers. Two night tables with two reading lamps were very welcome! Good linens on bed, good sleep. There was a small fridge in the entrance that we could use and a drinking-water cooler in the office to fill up water bottles. Bathroom is functional with good water pressure, hot and cold water and a bath mat. Secure behind fence parking for up to four cars; first come first served. Otherwise street parking right in front. Breakfast was good (7:30 - 10am, choose one of three menus). Room 108: Bathroom is private but is outside the bedroom door. Steep inside steps to access room. Bed is too soft. No hand towel in bathroom, just a bath towel each and a bath mat. No pool towels. The garden is pretty but we found the small pool uninviting; very little pool furniture. There is a shared inside lounge but we weren't invited to use it so we thought it was private space. No house keeping. Other than for the check-in (and the breakfast lady) there was no one on site to answer questions and no response to my booking.com message until the next morning. There was no notification or invoice forwarded after my credit card was charged by the property (not booking.com) for the stay; I had to ask for it. Breakfast took a long time to come. An ignorant person smoking directly under the no smoking sign ruined the atmosphere both mornings and instead of enforcing the no smoking the lady merely brought him an ashtray - pleasure of one for the discomfort of many..... Being in a mostly residential area is good as far as being relatively quiet and safe but on the flip side there's not much around. Another reviewer said it was a great place to recover after a night flight from Canada and I would have agreed for the most part but in hindsight I should have ponied up a bit more money and stayed somewhere else more comfortable and with a better location.

Very friendly and pleasant. Host was excellent at answering questions. Delicious breakfast and great service. Only thing is they didn’t provide wash rag. So bring your own. Not a 5 star as some things are a bit worn.

Very good overall experience. The hosts are exceptional.

Stayed one night. It was comfortable with good wifi and cool AC. The property was easy to find with the provided gate pictures. I paid for breakfast with my booking but didn't realize it was a sit down and wait to order service. I wrongly assumed it would be buffet style so I did not get to eat before I had to leave for the airport.

Pool is very cold

The smell in the room. It was like a sour scent lingered in the room (old shoes)plus there was water leaking from the sailing right onto the bed

This is a charming property with beautiful gardens and poolside setting… Great if you want a peaceful spot to unwind and get away. The room was not as quaint and up-to-date as the property but plenty adequate.

The design and location. Very peaceful environment. Nothing

The property was incredibly comfortable and felt straight out of a movie scene. Relaxing in the crystal-cool pool with soft music, the sound of running water, and surrounded by a variety of lush green plants was magical. Their garden is beautifully and creatively designed with different plants, a pool, a small spring, and even a charming little bridge. The architecture of the house itself is also lovely to look at. Lying on my back in the pool under the shade of the trees, watching the sunlight filter through the green leaves — that is what a true vacation feels like. The property also felt very safe, with an electronic front gate lock and several security cameras at the entrances. Restaurants are within walking distance, and we enjoyed a delicious, affordable dinner at a local food stall just down the street. The host was extremely kind and helpful. Although my overall trip wasn’t going well, staying here for just one night truly saved my vacation. The only downsides were that there was no fridge to store drinks and food, the shower water temperature was unstable, and the bathroom was quite basic. But compared to all the wonderful aspects of this place, these small inconveniences hardly mattered.

The staff was great, the hospitality was great and the food was great. I loved the koi fish and the turtles just everything would def book again!

The mattress was not the newest one, could be more comfortable.

I was waiting before the entrance gate for 10 minutes before someone let me in. Room was dirty - dumpster juice in the kitchen waste bin, spider webs on the ceiling or shower head. Both lamps on nightstands were missing light bulbs. Bathroom had no ventilation, but there were huge openings from bathroom towards the bedroom area (not ideal when using the toilet). Toilet seat was permanently stained, and smaller than the toilet itself. Swimming pool was dirty too. I was woken up by an employee cleaning patio with the tiniest, loudest leaf blower I have ever seen. Cleaning lady tried to kick me out of the room one hour before latest check out time.
