This is the best location to stay it it’s literally 5 min from downtown PC the jumbo (supermarket) and the body shop one of the best gyms in DR are very accessible. Bibijagua beach is 15 20 min away from the hotel as well. For the price point this is the best and most convenient place to stay They’re doing a lot of construction on the premises so there was some noise early in the am on a few mornings

In the area is a lot constructions in progress, at night you here some noises.

Best of best Nothing

The restaurant services were lacking. Some products or items from the menu were not available or had run out, and the breakfast service staff was not courteous with the guests. They barely looked you in the eye and seemed to ignore your presence.

There was a cockroach in our apartment, we didn’t have sheets or blankets for the sofa bed and when we asked the first night as well as three times the second night. It wasn’t until the 3rd time we asked on the second day that we got sheets. When we checked in the first night, it was around 6PM and our room was still not ready for us. We had to wait to go to our room

Clean and quiet To come and leave by foot to the downtown was challenging. Completely, the hotel was designed to come by car and leave by car. The downtown is just 500 meters away and at the same time you can’t walk because of lack of pathways.

To arrive at the hotel you would need to take a u-turn that is a 3km ride back and forward which made it a total of 6km to take the u-turn to arrive there. Would have been nice if there was an easier access.

Great experience at Hotel Faranda. Excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms, and very attentive service. Housekeeping was spotless throughout the stay. Special thanks to Jose, Pablo, Jaikol, and Francisco for their kindness and outstanding support. I would definitely stay here again

An Unforgettable Stay at Faranda Single 1 My stay at Hotel Faranda Single 1 was simply outstanding. The location is perfect — very close to the city center, making it easy to explore everything on foot, yet calm and comfortable when you return. The rooms are spacious and architecturally striking, combining modern design with real comfort. The food quality exceeded expectations: fresh, delicious, and consistently well prepared. Everything in the hotel works smoothly, cleanly, and with great attention to detail. The service staff, especially the waiters, were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. What truly makes the difference, however, is the people. A special thank you to José, the General Manager — his leadership is clearly reflected in the professionalism, harmony, and warmth of the entire team. You can feel that the hotel is run with care, vision, and genuine respect for guests. At the reception, Jaikol, Francisco, and Pablo were always helpful, polite, and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the very first moment. Stacie, with her natural kindness and warm presence, adds a subtle touch that makes the experience feel even more personal and memorable. Overall, Faranda Single 1 is a hotel I would confidently recommend and happily return to. Everything was excellent — location, food, service, and atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful experience. The location was OK. The representation was that we were staying in a hotel with Hotel type services, which was not true. Unfortunately, they had a fire in the main office, so there was no service there for four days and the restaurant didn’t open for seven days until the night before we were leaving. We paid top dollar for the room, but realized that these were timeshares. The manager was very nice, but he left for three days because he had smoke inhalation. Those are unfortunate issues. Nobody had control of. Room cleaning was very slow to nonexistent we had to continually ask for it. There was no attempt made to satisfy their inadequacies due to the fire so we paid full price with half the Services.

The room level I had included breakfast - I didn't have any but I did have fresh coffee. The rooms were as depicted in their pictures - very spacious and as expected pretty. Came with a full kitchen and lots of island space. Wifi was good in my room as well. Gorgeous pool - I didn't go in, but was great to look at. So not sure if its heated. There were lots of building construction around. I didn't hear anything g- but I did smell it. The scent of fresh concrete and paint never left my room which was really disappointing. The bar was also overpriced - $9.50 for a cocktail in the DR is crazy - very yummy - but crazy priced.

Locations Price

It is clean and spacious I came expecting to get a hotel treatment. It is more of an apartment than a hotel so if you expect a hotel treatment you will be disappointed: e.g.: breakfast included means that your breakfast is 1 toasted bread cut in half with jam, butter and either coffee/tea/milk. Anything extra you will need to order and pay for it (expect to add about 700 local currency daily to have breakfast). The property never got back to me regarding a request for early checkout though I made several trips to the reception and was always informed that they will get back to me. This is unprofessional.

Nothing The manager was rude and very mean

Very modern suite.with pools view from 4th floor.. beautiful landscape palm trees and others... restaurant had good price range... Agents at the front desk are very helpful... I enjoyed the ATV and Buggy Tours,,,(I'm a senior,but the young. Folks were very helpful and inclusive with the presentations.. The excitement was fun! Mud and all!! Need a railing for the stairwell leading up to restaurant...I realize it's a new facility..so I am sure it's in the making ?.. .And maybe 1 more bilingual person, ( I'm not fluent in Spanish beyond greetings and salutations...few prepositions...
