Hotel Yum K'iin

Fantastic location, near many good cafés and restaurants, and about 10 minutes’ walk to the ferry terminal. ADO bus terminal is just a few blocks away. King room is very spacious. This hotel is basic, but great value. Walmart and Soriana mega-supermarket stores are just a few minutes’ walk. For my meals, there were many good places nearby to sit down and eat or simply order and take back to the hotel. The mini refrigerator in the room was good to have keep yogurt and other food. At night, one could hear some singing and music from nearby establishments and the municipal plaza nearby. But that didn’t last until late. it was generally quiet after 10 pm. I was able to sleep quite well during my stay. In addition, staff were very helpful and accommodating when I had to change my dates of stay. I truly appreciate the hotel’s flexibility. For a value stay, this hotel works well.

The rooms was quiet and clean, and the hotel was just a short walk from a park and many food options!

No comforter on beds, which i believe they do this this prevent people from turning AC really low.

The room was clean. Location was good. Staff were friendly. Overall, good value for the money. Room was a little worn out. Fresh paint and a deep clean would be nice but not 100% necessary.

The guest service was wonderful, there was always a person to help, they also let us keep their bags at the hotel after check out! It’s also nice and close to the ado bus station The safe was locked but when I returned it was open, hoping it was just defective.

It was a good price for a clean and friendly hotel.

Comfortable beds/matresses, good location but not that close to the ferry I would have given a better rating if it wasn’t for the shower issue. Crappy shower. I was not able to get a good shower because the water from the shower head was spreading all over the place, and just drizzle. Very disappointed to not be able to have a good shower. The bathroom was apparently newly renovated so it shouldn’t take that much to put in a proper shower. Or at least check the showers once and awhile. I live in Tulum so I know how it works. And I got a room with no windows, just one out in the hallway. I guess the hotel was almost empty, so they could have given me a better room.

The facility was clean, and spacious. Staff was very helpful.

Great budget hotel, clean, comfortable beds, kind staff. My only issue was the night time receptionist, he would play shows on his phone very loud and the way it is made, it makes an eco-chamber reverberating the noise into the rooms. It was loud and annoying, not necessary. Use headphones.

Great location, it's close by Walmart, main street and the beach. There are many restaurants and safe. The staff in the night shift, he was really nice and polite. After cleaning the room, the bed sheets seemed not to have been changed to new ones. They made it just looked nicer. The original soap has weird smell.

This little hotel is well kept and in a convenient location. 15 minute walk from the beach and 7 minutes from the ADO bus. There are many good restaurants close by. Like many Mexican hotels, there was only a sheet on the bed with no quilt. I just used the towels for extra warmth, as the A/C was directly above the bed. It may be that the desk had a blanket.

Great location. Super nice and kind guy at the reception. Water refill container. A good safe in the room. Comfortable beds. Unpleasant smell of mold in the room. Complicated with wet towels and swimming suit, there was a no place where to put it.

I don't know if I honestly have any complaints. This was a real 10 out of 10 experience for me, both times.

The bed was a little soft for me. Maybe not for others. There was only a sheet, not a blanket. So, if you wanted the AC on for ventilation, it was cold. I used a towel for an extra layer. It may be you could request a blanket at the desk.

Close to the main strip, however very loud Road beside the hotel. Large bed and clean room. Not sure if it was the hotels fault but there was a family absolutely blaring music into the early hours of the night. The place is so loud with scooters, banging doors, moving furniture etc... Wouldn't recommend this place for a quiet stay
