Close to the beach, swimming pool on the top roof is nice It’s too small, hardly can find a place to drop our bags

No breakfast; location was convenient. Mattress was a little lumpy.

Location is good. Clean rooms. Big thank you to the front desk Sam who helped us greatly and have excellent English for easy communications. We did not like the combined "semi-private" toilet stalls between males and females. Pantry table area next to the front desk does not have enough seating and is sometimes occupied by staff and their families/friends. This should be reserved for guest use. The pool water was still and hazy.

Simple room close to the center and beach. The room and showers were generally clean, and did a job for one night sleep before airport. Wifi was pretty good. I got a room with a fan although I booked a room with AC. Staff didn’t allow me to check-in an hour before 3pm although the room was ready, saying it’s the policy. I didn’t have to use the room but it was just a bit strange. Staff wasn’t friendly.

Not very friendly receptionist woman, noisy, the cleanliness of the toilets could be better, and the shower wasn't working properly.

The rooms and the location

Nothing to like Room smaller than a prison cell. Hot in the room, but if you turn on the fan it is super loud. All rooms underground, moody. Shower water is COLD and all water is SALTY water, not fresh water. Prepare to shower and come out all salty.

The location, the privacy, is a good place to rest too

Rooms, though small was comfortable. Toilets were claustrophobic, showers were OK. The basins was weird.. VERY small. The architect tried to make the bathroom funky, but it's a joke.

Great price for a very well located private room. Beds were comfortable. Facilities were clean. The rooms are very small, even for one person. If you are not a princess, it will be just fine. For 2 people, you will feel crammed however,

I travel solo a lot and stay at hostels most of the time. Mini Rooms offered a private cozy space for the same price! I wasn't sure what to expect but this hotel was fantastic. The room was the perfect size, and very comfortable. I loved the personal room ceiling fan. I used it for cooling down and it was great white noise for sleep. The owner and staff went above and beyond, and were SO friendly. The owner even made a personal visit to my room when my daughter could not get ahold of me on the phone, so she called Mini Rooms by Illusion and he compassionately helped to alleviate her fears by finding me and making sure all were ok. They even shared some of their meal with me one night. Most staff spoke some English, and the owner spoke it perfectly. The whole place is well designed and feels more expensive then it is. The location is FABULOUS, and I walked everywhere I needed to as it was close to the bus, touristy areas, the center plaza, restaurants, bars, a mini mart, and major retail stores. I was there late November to December and the place was nice and quiet. My biggest challenge was not being sure which building it was at because there were no outdoor signs saying "Mini Rooms by Illusion". Some of the showers did not have good hot water. The elevator was broke to the roof top pool. There was some confusion about me paying the local tax through booking.com and not needing to pay again.

Was nice, clean and comfortable. Would stay there anytime again.
