Absolutely amazing ? Water should be available for guests to re fill bottles of water if needed ….but they do supply small bottles of water twice daily in the room .

It was my third time at Geckos, love it. It’s in front of the beach with such a beautiful view. I think the rooms could have a little improvement

Lovely location, small and relaxed (end of season stay). Staff were friendly and very helpful. Massage was excellent! Lovely walks close by. Could have done with more vegetarian options on the bar & restaurant menu but the salad was delicious - and the breakfast had a lot of choice.

Breakfast was served on the beautiful terrace. You could order from a small menu offering eggs, bacon etc and a buffet breakfast positioned in a larder in an indoor dining room beautifully laid out. Service was a little less than expected. Our overall score for breakfast 6 would have been 9 but service terribly slow. Our air conditioning was not working and no-one really seemed to care. We only stayed two nights maintenance arrived twice on night 1 then again night 2 - the maintenance guy did bring a fab into the room but at over €500 a night did expect aircon to work. I discussed lack of working aurcon with management on our last day and we were offered a complimentary shuttle ride back to Ferry Terminal.
