Hotel Neva

Water front, the staff are really nice. The hotel is in need of an extensive remodel and cleaning. We were refunded our money by booking.com when we canceled after one night. Too many issues to list. The pool area was nice.

The hotel enjoys an amazing location right on the seashore, offering a truly beautiful sea view that immediately stands out as one of its strongest features. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay—thank you for making our visit comfortable. The breakfast was decent and a good start to the day. We also had two dinners at the hotel; while the menu was simple and short, the food was delicious and satisfying. The hotel boasts a truly agreeable sea view, which at first glance feels like a highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, this experience is significantly diminished by a persistent and unpleasant smell of smoke. The balcony, which should be the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh sea breeze in the early morning, is instead filled with cigarette smoke. Opening the balcony door brings the odor straight into the room, making it impossible to enjoy the natural freshness you would expect from a seaside location. This issue is not limited to the rooms. The reception area also has a strong, lingering smell of smoke. Overall, while the scenery has great potential, the pervasive smoke odor throughout the hotel seriously detracts from the comfort and enjoyment of the stay.

Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. We liked the exterior and location of the property. Breakfast was good and the morning coffee was very nice. The rooms were a bit out dated but they were clean.

The pool was good enough for the kids and sea was only one step away from the hotel and it was crystal clear. The beds were not really comfortable, the room was a bit out dated.

It’s right next to the sea and we had a room and a balcony with a sea view which was really nice. Room was very spacious, comfortable beds. Staff was really friendly, you can purchase a dinner in the restaurant downstairs, which is really good because there are no places to eat nearby. The hotel is quite old, outdated - the room, bathroom, facilities and restaurant. Breakfast was okey, you can get scrambled eggs, fruits, make a sandwich. I would also say that you need to have a car to stay in this location. Split is 15km away but due to traffic it takes 40min to get there with a car.

I am very happy with this hotel. It was an amazing location that let’s you to relax to the fullest. Will defiantly come back! I would love to have more vegetables during the breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location, straight on the beach with a swimming pool. Staff is lovely and always here to help with anything. Restaurant is good both for lunch or breakfast. Very relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views. Very quiet rooms and surroundings. Good parking and a mini supermarket next door. Difficult to say but maybe have the restaurant opening at 1pm instead of 2pm? Not a major problem anyway, it kind of works if you have a late breakfast.

The location was absolutely perfect. Amazing stay for our family with a baby 8 months old. Very quiet place and friendly staff. The room was cleaned to perfection and house maids were terrific also, always smiling. All in all very happy with our stay and great value for that money. Everything was perfect.

Everything was great. The view, calm and great location. All that you need for perfect relaxed holidays :)

The location right on the beach is fantastic. Staff were lovely friendly and helpful. Slightly dated.

Room and balcony 10 metres away from the waterfront, sleep with the sound of lapping waves. Amazing views from the balcony, including views over Split. Staff made us feel at home. Pool and water access. Sea was a bit cold (19C, in May) but quite swimmable. Easy, cheap 30 minute bus ride to central Split. Really nice dinner options (menu a bit limited, but good basic food). Maybe mosquito nets on the window? We found a few mosquitos despite being 10m from the sea, but they were relatively mild types. (And we wanted windows open to listen to the waves).

The people. ALL the staff were so lovely. Very friendly and helpful Ana on reception especially looked after us Views were amazing. Little beach just outside was cute Food was good in evening. Breakfast very basic Bus service into Split was reliable clean and cheap (2.50 each one way) - took about half an hour A bit tatty! No bars/restaurants to walk out to

We wanted to be outside of Split so this was perfect for us to go in when we wanted and to relax if we wanted.

One event: My husband cut his foot on broken glass in the outdoor dining area (not broken by us!). We showed the pieces we had located to staff. No one came to sweep the area or clean up the blood during the hour we remained in the area. (We sat by the pool after he cleaned and bandaged his foot.)

Ana was a tremendous help to us during our stay in Split. We would love to stay at Hotel Neva again should we be fortunate enough to return to Croatia. It was also nice having parking! Lol That our stay wasn't longer. ❤️

Warm welcome, clean and comfortable bed. Within a short taxi ride of Split. The pool area looks tired and needs a bit of a lift. Breakfast adequate but a little bit limited in terms of choice.
