Prime location and staff Bharat is very helpful Property being near to Dance bar , it is very noisy during the night. Rooms are not sound proof.

Clean but old fashioned room, with nice with of mountains snd Fewa lake It was a little noisy because of carnival in streets.

The breakfast was ok but maybe it should be more different because it was like similar food every morning and the staff was cute but sometimes forgot about the things we asked them before.

Visited with my family and had a pleasant stay in Hotel Portland. Ms. Kretee & Ms. Sidhika were very attentive and prompt to help and address any of your needs in no time. The owner was also very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was good with nice variety on a daily basis. The AC room was very clean with daily cleaning facility available and had a balcony with beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Good value for money. Thank you Sushant Acharya for a remarkable management during the breakfast hours, Hari Ranabhat & Pabita have been a good host during our 5 days stay. Nothing in particular!

My recent stay at the hotel was satisfactory in some aspects but left room for improvement in several key areas. Breakfast & Dining: The breakfast was decent, though the variety in the Nepali set meals was quite limited. I would suggest introducing more options to enhance the local culinary experience. Additionally, the breakfast area appeared to be understaffed, which occasionally led to delays in service. Staff & Service: While some staff members were courteous, overall responsiveness needs improvement. Guests expect clarity and promptness when seeking assistance, and I found the communication inconsistent. For example, my second laundry request was not fulfilled despite repeated follow-ups. It would have been helpful if the staff had clearly informed me that it could not be done. Room Amenities: Toiletries were minimal – standard items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided, which is unexpected in a hotel of this category. Pricing & Currency Exchange: A significant concern was the currency exchange rate. At the time of my stay, the official exchange rate was approximately NPR 137/USD, but I was charged at NPR 138, which felt excessive and should have been transparently communicated in advance. Tour Packages: The tour packages offered by the hotel were notably overpriced compared to what is available in the market. Guests might appreciate more competitively priced options or better value offerings. Final Thoughts: While the hotel provides a basic level of comfort, several service and operational improvements are necessary to meet the expectations of international travelers. The staff was very helpful with all of our requests. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful trip. Our stay in Pokhara was made significantly better because of the kindness of the Hotel Portland staff to help us with any questions or requests we had during our stay.

Worth its money. The staff are very polite and helpful. We left early in the morning and didn't have time for breakfast - they offered us fruit to take with us and helped us with a taxi. The water in the shower runs outside the shower, which is a little inconvenient.

Had a wonderful stay here. Location is great and they even upgraded us to a better room since it was available. The best part was, however, the super friendly staff. Kriti, a young female staff member, took such good care of us and was an exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Looking forward to visiting again!

Perfect place to stay in Pokhara. Located very close to a lovely part of the lake. The staff were brilliant as was the accommodation and breakfast in the morning. Staff very helpful at speaking to arrange tourist bus to collect us at the end of the street rather than going to the bus station. Thank you for our stay.

Breakfast was good but a bit more varieties would have been great. The items were limited. Housekeeping should be faster than expected.
