We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Tourist Residency and Homeland Forest Villa.From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was incredible, every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The resort’s location is perfect: peaceful and scenic, yet close to the heart of Pokhara. It truly feels like a serene escape. The amenities were fantastic, but one of the highlights of our stay was the top‑notch massage experience. My husband and I received treatments from bimal , dristi muskan and pooja and each of them delivered outstanding service. Their professionalism, skill, and calming approach made it one of the best spa experiences we’ve ever had—truly the perfect way to unwind after exploring the city. While the rooms were a bit small a the hotel does not have a lift, everything else was extremely amazing, and the overall quality of service more than made up for it. The owner was incredibly supportive in helping us arrange trips and activities, and communication was always clear and easy from the moment we booked. The airport pickup was smooth and reliable, which made arriving stress-free. The property has a beautiful garden and a calm atmosphere — peaceful and quiet, yet still just a short walk from the Lakeside main strip. You can relax away from the noise but reach restaurants and shops in minutes. We’d happily stay here again.

We've stayed in 4x different hotels in Pokhara and this is by far the nicest. It has a lovely garden and the rooms are well nice. 100% recommend. We will be back again.

Wow what an amazing location and view ..literally 5 mins in scooter or walk 10 mins to lakeside. Away from all the crazies but close enough to be close. Love love the service from the workers here. I'd stay here longer if I didn't book everything in advance. 10 out of 10.

Best villa near lakeside. Great hospitality. owner and manger are super friendly and gives you the best company as well.Peace and sound environment with Exquisite Panaromic landscape view. You can also stay with your friends, enjoy music and guitar till late night no one's gonna complain you as it is bit away from residency area. ?️?️

Must stay places in Pokhara to enjoy the Himalaya and the nature. Great service from the hotel staff. I found all the services from vehicle to trekking and eateries at the hotel front desk.

What an oasis of a place. The perfect location in Pokhara. The rooms are spacious, very clean with attention to detail. warm showers all day long. Loved the jungle garden, overlooking the city whilst it’s quiet and relaxing. there were monkeys, loads of birds and flowers! The owners are incredibly helpful. We arrived quite early in the morning and had to wait a little for our room to be ready. They kindly upgraded us to their suite. it made our stay even more enjoyable. Bimal arranged the most amazing guide for us to go trekking in mardi himal and abc.

Peace with nature

Tourist Residency is the ideal place to relax and get away from it all. Bimal and the staff there truly go above and beyond to make your experience memorable. Given the price, this place is an absolute steal. Enjoy the views overlooking Pokhara with a chai at all hours of the day. Breakfast is included and always delicious. The only potential draw back is the distance from the main drag (8-10m walk) but even then this helps keep the area quiet making it an even better restorative escape.
