We stayed in the upstairs terrace suite and loved it. we were greeted by a cheerful and lovely grazia upon arrival and she immediately and enthusiastically took us to our (reserved) parking spot in a locked garage then helped us with our bags up the stairs. the building has been redone as it feels very new and clean inside. the bedroom in this suite is not large but the bed is very comfortable. i have spine “issues” and i slept well and comfortably in this bed. there is a peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the window in the bedroom. so nice to have the window open in the day and feel the sea air flow in! but what we enjoyed the most was the outside terrace/living area. this space might not be for everyone but we loved waking up and making coffee in the outside kitchen, before grazia would bring our breakfast to us. the two lounge chairs were perfect for relaxing either in the sun or the shady overhang in between adventures. breakfast was typical. a croissant or pastry, some toast risks or biscuits and jam with espresso. we were told we would get yogurt and juice but two days we didn’t get yogurt and two days we didn’t get juice. so maybe we misunderstood and were told we’d get yogurt OR juice. ? the dimora dioniso is right on one of the active restaurant streets, but at the quiet end. everything is within short walking distance and the street is quiet. we fell in love with polignano a mare. what a gorgeous town with some really wonderful and reasonably priced restaurants. the room has efficient heating and air con. note: the gas fireplace is not working but that wasn’t a problem for us. being outside in the morning in the very quiet neighbourhood with swallows circling and the sun slowly lighting up the sky was a feeling i’ll always remember. some places are rooms, and some are experiences. thank you grazia for your kind hospitality. ❤️ being we are in wine country, we wished there were a couple of wine glasses for our rose’ prosecco. and there was also only one clear drinking glass. i’m sure some things get broken and not always replaced but a few extras like that would be nice. ???❤️

Very comfortable, nicely furnished, clean, well-maintained apartment, stocked with all the necessities. The whole town is walkable; beaches, nightlife, viewpoints just minutes from the apartment. Breakfasts were delicious! Hostess was very helpful and responsive. N/A

Perfect base for our 2 week stay in Polignano A Mare. We stayed in an upstairs room with balcony perfectly located close to the old town & dining but nice & quiet. Spotlessly clean & a fabulous fresh breakfast too. We loved our stay except for the other guests buzzing our apartment regularly. The room we stayed in was located at Via 185 - no other office address is provided on the door just a phone number - so we had other guests regularly buzzing our apartment trying to check in or speak to the host. Over 2 weeks started to get annoying & with language differences an awkward situation

Outdoor space/terrace was lovely. Convenient location. Delicious croissants with espresso and warm milk was a great start to the day. Very friendly host.

Apartment is very nice and perfectly suitable for 2 adults or 2 adults with 2 kids (one family). It was very clean and terrace on top is a nice bonus. Breakfast was good and served daily. Is little misleading that it could accommodate 4 adults as the second bedroom does not have a direct access to the shared bathroom only through the other bedroom. Towels were clean but quite worn out and should be replaced.

The apartment is pretty spacious, with big walk-in shower cabin, comfortable furniture, excellent breakfast with hot coffee and croissants that were brought directly at the flat every morning. And a perfect location between city center and embankment

Fabulous apartment in the historical centre! Grazia, the host was very welcoming and the rooms are spacious. Typical Italian breakfast that you can enjoy on the balcony in the morning.

The location is perfect, short walk to the main attractions. A lot of restaurants nearby. The host surprised us with the cutest little breakfast. The apartment has everything you might need from toiletries, fan, blankets, umbrella. The view is amazing. The interior is exceptional. Free street parking during our stay in front of the apartment.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bed was made daily which I wasn't expecting. Lots of drawers and hangers. Gracia was extremely pleasant, helpful and charming. The listing had indicated a bathrobe and she graciously got one for me. I believe the listing indicated that the room was 269 square feet which consisted of the bed, a small table and the bathroom. The private terrace held two lounge chairs, a kitchen table and chairs and the kitchen. Breakfast was left on a little table outside my room and it consisted of cappuccino, croissant, juice, and outside on the kitchen table were jams, Nutella and biscuits. The towels definitely could be replaced. Condiments were available but since the kitchen was outside the condiments were hardened.
