Location and the staff were so friendly and helpful Nothing

First, the owner was very friendly and made some great recommendations on boat tour, restaurants, things to do in the area. All the recommendations were great. The location is great - a little away from the downtown of Poglinano e Mare to be seculuded and quiet at evenings, but only gentle 10 min or less stroll to the main plaza where all the action is. We are a family of 5 with teen and college age kids and we loved staying at the B&B. The breakfast on top of the terrace in the morning looking out at the sea was definitely a plus and the rooms were fine - enough space and comfort.

Great location short walk to old town with parking. Very attentive and accommodating staff. Small public beach short walk away Really there was nothing negative at all.

It was very nice and clean. The views were beautiful. They had extra little amenities including bathroom slippers and shower caps. Angela was extremely nice and helpful. We were in a bind with a car rental company but she contacted her source and had a rental car within an hour. This was impressive. The breakfast server was a delight and offered suggestions around the region and Gabrielle was very welcoming too. We would stay here again.

Everything
-
-The breakfast terrace overlooking the sea -Walking distance into the centre of Polignano -Fridge in the room with complementary water (beware: not all are complementary!) -Mosquito nets in the windows - a huge plus! -Parking - 4 spaces in the front + underground parking also available (we parked on a private street nearby as our lowered cars could not drive in to the underground and all spaces in the front were already taken) -The place is clean, quiet enough and doors are locked at night, for added security Edit: Angela has responded to my initial review and I would like to say that I mistakenly rated the place as 4.0 instead of 7.0. By no means is this a terrible place, just in my opinion not worth the price for what you get, and Puglia is one of the cheaper regions of Italy. The price of 250EUR for 1 night for 2 people in early September was the highest we paid during our 3 week stay in Italy (Bologna, various towns of Puglia, Castelmezzano, Calabria, Tuscany) and we did not appreciate that. -The room was way too expensive for what it was - outdated and cramped (it was a triple room) --> edit: yes it was the last room on Booking.com and at the time of booking I selected it for 2 nights and not just 1. I was shocked to hear we paid 250 euro for 1 night in the area, which in our opinion is excessive. We have the right to have an opinion and to share it here, this is the principle of a review. -Toilets are arranged in a way that you can see and hear your neighbours... --> edit: yes the windows are opaque but if you have them open, the whole point of the opaque window is gone, this is simple physics. Please think before writing a reply the next time, Angela. -Underground parking too steep for lowered cars; only 4 spaces are available in the front of the property --> edit: "the lady" did not know about the need to reserve a parking space and indeed did not do so, however as we arrived with 2 lowered cars, underground parking was out of question. I am simply sharing my honest opinion to help other travellers in the future. -No kettle in the room --> edit: no worries, I bought a travel kettle. This is not a complaint, just what we did not like. -The staff were trying to be funny but not in a funny way - it was annoying --> edit: I see the response from the hotel and I am not happy to read what is written as there is no other way to check-in to the hotel than to come to the reception. Since we checked in we avoided the front desk, but at check-in one must speak with the receptionist. We stayed 3 weeks in Italy and this was by far the most expensive and least nice hotel. It is not that it is bad, but for the price our expectations were higher. The pictures online are not entirely what we have seen, but this is the case with many properties anyway.

We loved the location which was within walking distance to the town center. Angela was an excellent host and the place was incredibly clean and comfortable for us. We really enjoyed the rooftop area where we had breakfast. Would highly recommend staying there!!! Home run! We did not have any issues at all!

The manager the staff, location
-
Location was great with just a 10 minute walk to the historic center of town. The breakfast was ample served on the roof deck with an ocean view. Service was delightful and attentive each morning. Alessandro charmed us when we checked in and Angela was beyond kind! A bouquet of balloons wishing our daughter Happy Birthday was on our door when we returned from a day of travel to the beach. Very thoughtful and a sweet surprise!! The internet connection was a bit balky, but Angela was having it repaired as we left. More of an issue for her than for us I'm sure.

The place is very clean, our room had a great view for seeing the sunrise over the sea from our balcony, the staff was excellent and they have good choices for breakfast.

We loved the. B&B. Very welcoming and pleasant. It’s clean and a short walk to the old town. Very comfortable room and all details well thought out. Several bottles of water in the fridge and a kettle for tea. Breakfast was varied with fresh fruit. The terrace overlooking the sea for breakfast was a great way to start the day. Angela recommended restaurants and activities as well as several beaches. I wish we could have stayed longer Nothing
