Costa Hotel

Unfortunately there was a small dog in the room next door that liked to bark. We also got rained in for a day and the TV didn't work and would not sync with any of our streaming apps. It was too old. So, just a few glitches, but over all a nice place to stay while discovering Pompeii.

Safe parking in garage for my motorbike No info that the hotel is just beside a big road and train, so noisy during night :-(

Exceptional

The breakfast was delicious! The rooms were cozy, but very clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing!! They were very attentive and helpful to find places to eat. The location was a bit far from Pompeii (not walkable), but we were able to navigate by car and find parking.

Great location close to the ruins. Very clean and friendly helpful staff. The bed was rock hard. I was glad we only had one night booked

Incredibly lovely and helpful people run this hotel. We were greeted immediately with friendly assistance and information about our stay, given complimentary drinks and this level of hospitality continued throughout. The room facilities were very basic however I do think I booked a ‘basic’ room but compared to other similar stays it didn’t offer as much such as a fridge or minibar etc We made the most of walking to and from the station, shops & restaurants but it was quite an awkward location if you aren’t driving.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Lovely bar with fantastic complimentary snacks. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable stay.

Lovely garden and even more lovely staff ! Always trying to help, waited for me to close the gate when I came back after midnight and makes nice drinks too !

* The hotel has a nice traditional look. * The staff was quite helpful. * Nice view from the room's balcony to the Vesubio. * Recommended for people with a car because the hotel is located near the highway which communicates to many places in the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Naples, Salerno, etc. ...or recommended for people with booked tours (with arranged pick-up from and to the hotel). * Close to the Castellammare di Stabia port, which is less crowded than other ports if one wants to take ferry shuttles to Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, etc. * Free Parking available within the hotel grounds. * The size of shower is really small. * The rooms do not offer good noise isolation...the hotel is close to a highway, so it gets noisy. * The breakfast was quite stressful, because we had the waiter basically following us very close all over the buffet table and staring at us closely when eating on the table. * In the last night the air conditioner (central type it seems) was not working, due to a power failure in the local area. When we arrived to the room after an evening out, the personnel did not inform us in advance that the air conditioner didn't work. As it is summer, it was quite difficult to sleep due to the heat and mosquitoes. We strongly recommend the hotel to be more proactive to solve the issues in advance for the guests before it's late, before sleeping time, and better training on how to fix the issues with the air conditioner if it occurs again.
