Rubilia Rooms Pompei

Nothing, it was a wonderful experience.

Location is close to historic Pompeii, about 20-30 min walk. The room is equipped with a private bathroom, the host is very helpful and positive. the neighborhood is pretty quiet.

Nice clean room. Very private. Well kept. Provided towels and shower gel plus shampoo. That was great. Antonio is very willing and helpful Poor location for a traveller. If you have a car location is not a problem. Near a train station where you can't buy tickets and never sure if a train will come.

It was 30min wamk from the station

The room was nice, had everything you need. There also was a place where you can eat outside. Host was really communicative and it was easy to check in and out. Antonio give us good hints where to eat or make shopping The common kitchen have only microwave oven. As long as the room was really clean and there is no issues then kitchen had problem with clean and we even found cockroach there.

The property was good for the nights stay and couldn’t fault anything at all. The host was incredibly accommodating, thanks again Antonio

Enjoyed our stay very much, comfortable and clean room with air conditioner also good wifi connection provided! A beautiful and quiet neighbourhood, Antonio is a super nice and friendly host. A good spot to stay if you’re going to visit Pompei, and nearby beaches like Sorrento, only with 40mins train! Highly recommended:) the airbnb location is 30mins walk, public buses unfortunately doesn’t come on time as scheduled, so if you don’t have a car, might be slightly inconvenient, and need to opt for extra transportation services in town.

Great value for money

The room are pretty clean and big. The staff is nice and responsive. Breakfast is good and I was lucky enough to chat and get to know the other people staying in the same residence. Very pleasant stay in general. The public transport is once every hour, it can be complicated to get here without a car.

Clean comfortable room. Off street parking. Nice kitchen to make tea. Manager was very accommodating with our late checkin, and even filmed a video to show entry into building/room….great communication. Advertised as walking distance to train station and Pompei ruins…it absolutely isn’t! While centrally located if you have a car, you should not walk the surrounding neighborhood at night from the train station…industrial and lots of garbage. There are no late busses and getting a taxi is near impossible and they will over charge you for the short ride.

The appartment of Antonio was really good. He was waiting for us even after the check-in hours. Everything was expectional. The room clean and big. The bed was really comfortable. Nothing. Everything was just fine.

very comfortable and spacious rooms, with big enough bathroom (the best shower I had in any B&B - water falls very softly, the right temperature comes immediately), air conditioning set up before we arrived so we could enjoy the refreshing air on this extremely hot day from the first step we put into the room. The owner was very friendly, helpful, easygoing and immediately reacting to our needs. I missed a bit kitchen equipment to prepare our breakfast, but it was not that big deal in comparison with the overall satisfaction about the rooms quality and comfort and the guests reception.

The house and the rooms were excellent, very clean, spacious, very comfortable, and nicely decorated. There is also a shared living room/ kitchen with a fridge, coffee machine, microwave cups plates cutlery, and even coffee guests can share. Antonio, who welcomed us, helped us with information and also drove us around at all times, really made us feel at home. In short, both in terms of the rooms themselves and the hosts, this place is better than expected, almost magical. The location is a problem though, if you arrive by train, the distance to Rubilia rooms from the train station of Torre Annunziata is almost equal to the distance between Rubilia rooms and Pompei, but there is not much on the way in terms of shops, restaurants cafes...Still, it is a walking distance, both to the train station and Scavi. If you are driving or cycling around the place is ideal. In general, I highly recommend, The distance from the center, both of Torre Annunziata and Pompei - it is practically half-way

Comfortable and clean room, well maintained, with a comfortable bed. Some noise from other residents coming and going, but not unacceptable

Antonio was super lovely. Offered to pick us up from the station for a small fee. The room was clean and roomy with a nice bathroom. A nice cheap pizza restaurant and bakery/bar within 2mins of walking from the house It was a bit far away from everything with no reliable public transport around.
