Villa Ettore

CLEAN and Spacious. Location walkable to ruins and train to Sorrento. Many good restaurants within brief walk. Owner explained everything. Small kitchen well supplied with pastries and snacks. Nothing.

Owner-Stefano welcomed me on my arrival & was very hospitable/welcoming. The suite was clean, comfortable with lovely bedding. A small coffee/tea bar was available for after hours tea/coffee break. Morning pastries were offered & they were so yummy. Stefano provided great recommendations for places to eat & enjoy the sites of Pompeii. Highly recommended this property! Nothing

Easy to find. Facilities were clean. The property has a lovely garden and covered area for relaxing. Easy walk to center of modern city and to gates of archeological area. Limited items like soap, shampoo. There was a combination shampoo and shower gel but it was not good at either.

Breakfast was great - loved the fresh croissants and access to other snacks in the shared kitchen area.

Clean and comfortable. Despite being on a busy road, it was quiet inside. The property was well maintained and smart looking. Stefani was welcoming and helpful. On a busy road.

Better than the photos and a great host. Stefano was proactive in communication and a pleasure to stay with. Really enjoyed our impromptu wine tasting he put together for us. The villa is very comfortable and a short walk from the ruins. Nothing! It was a great stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Ettore! We came in from the train a little early but waited very comfortably in the garden for our room to be ready and perfect. Stefano was kind, courteous, and professional. He recommended places to eat in town away from typical tourist traps, and we ended up seeing him later at dinner at one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. The Villa was beautifully renovated and decorated, and our room was spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and a great value. The black out blinds and luxurious bed made our night so peaceful we almost slept through our check out! We will absolutely be coming to Pompeii again and we will absolutely be booking with Villa Ettore again, highly recommended!

Breakfast was as described, however, extras such as yoghurt, biscuits etc were available throughout the day, perfect Don’t think anything could have been better

The views, location, staff, breakfast was amazing, access to town The shower was smaller than Maxwell Smart’s phone booth. Do not put anything on the floor as you can’t bend over to pick it up. Apart from that, nothing.

Everything was great. Stephanos was very helpful. Could have been a towel rag next to the shower. Everything else was wonderful.

They provided us with a wine tasting from their own winery (I purchased the bottle of wine) and they provided choices of vintage appetizers. Stafano also drove us to Pompeii

Excellent service, helpful staff/ owner with tips and information, good breakfast/ coffee facilities, great location, very clean room and toilet, well maintained and beautiful place, safe. Heating could be better. Also you had to wait for the hot water and the temperature kept changing periodically from hot to cold to hot. You needed to adjust accordingly.
