Courtyard by Marriott Detroit Pontiac/Auburn Hills

The staff at this property are exemplary. All were friendly and courteous, and went above and beyond. It was a the perfect location for a concert at Pine Knob. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

We thought it was a free breakfast! We were surprised it had to be purchased. Not use to that

Comfortable bed. Coffee downstairs in lobby was available. Front desk personnel were very friendly Continental breakfast not included. Bathroom and bedroom lighting very poor... either too harsh or too dim, especially in the vanity area. Bathroom floor tile grout very dirty. Room had a worn, outdated look. Elevator interiors were dirty and dark.

I liked they had a balcony and also the rooms were pretty decent.

Maybe a Hand soap tray. I felt bad just leaving the soap bar on the sink top.

I like the room size , the water Got hot, once bedding was changed bed slept good That there was blood on the quit that was on bed and the air ran but couldn't see numbers to change temp

I was told of breakfast included in my fee. In the morning I was told only for pay.

Room smelled like smoke, but we are smokers too so wasnt a big deal to us, I think it comes back in thru that ac unit or walking in and out the door for the balcony. Pool was nice but cold, very cold. Biggest issue we had was the shower drain was slow, by the time you shower you're ankle deep in water. Staff was super helpful and friendly, Starbucks inside was great. Hotel is in a good area close to the highway and places we went for the weekend. Would consider staying again, not a bad place for the money.

Didn't have breakfast unless you took the time to order it and wait. Dead cock roaches in the bathroom when arrived. Live cock roaches next morning. Had to fight to get room I ordered. You had a special routine you had to use to get the door open. Had to hit door really hard and jerk upward or it wouldn't open. The pooll listed as a feature was closed for construction.

Staff was friendly Room smelled musty and the bedding was damp. Looked overall clean but the wet smell hit you as soon as you walked in.

We had a great room for our overnight trip. The staff were helpful and prepared. We had no issues with anything at all! We will be back if we are ever in the area again!
