Check in and out was very smooth.Staff very nice and helpful.Room, very clean and up to date.We were here for the Woodward Cruise. Been going to the cruise for many years and will be booking this hotel from here on.

Excellent accommodations. Older but well kept property. Staff is amazing. Rooms are big and comfortable.
-
The only thing that we all hated was the very short commodes. They were very hard to sit and get up. The bowls were also very shallow which means that it was easy to get your hands wet if weren’t careful. This should be corrected, but it wouldn’t keep me from staying there again.

Staff helpful and supportive. Rooms are run down and need to be updated.
-
The first room we were given smelled profusely of cigarette smoke. The staff was kind enough to put us in a different room. All the hallways frequently smelled like someone was smoking pot.

All the staff from front desk to breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was easy on/off the highway. Breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits/gravy, waffles, yogurt, fruit, juice) was great all four days we were there. Good laundry facilities.
-
Staff was friendly and there were warm cookies at check in that were amazing. Breakfast looked good, but most was gone when I arrived at the tail end of breakfast. It must be good so plan to get there early. All in all it was a good value for the stay.

I love that I can have 2 bedrooms suite,
-
Lighting in rooms very poor. Seating in living space was very low (as though designed for little people) and seating was not comfortable. Beds were ok but space in bedrooms of the suite was very limited. We experienced a major water leak into the ceiling of one of the two bathrooms of a 2 bedroom suite. This soaked the bathroom and made it unuseable for one day and workmen coming and going to partially deal with this was very inconvenient. The ceiling was still not repaired after 7 days of the 2 week stay. I requested a call from the manager to discuss a comp of at least one day for the major inconvenience but was never contacted. The dishwasher in the small kitchen did not nearly adequately clean the dishes and we had to do all dish cleaning by hand and used the dishwasher rack only for storage after hand washing dishes. There was not adequate dish soap and we finally purchased more locally. The only bright spot of the stay is that the staff members were friendly.

The carpet was not clean; found a lot of animal hair.

Property is clean. It is older and things are showing wear. Has not been updated. Stayed there for a week and don't think the cleaning crew came once. Had to ask for clean towels. But I do see the cleaning crew there. Overall for the price it's worth it.

This property has made me no longer trust the Marriott brand.

It seems the inn is going through renovations. We got the room in the old wing that is not yet renovated. There were patches on the couch - it was clean but marks from old spills remained. The leather of the chair was peeling off and ceiling had water seepage patches left over from previous spill. Definitely not worth the charge. We are regular customers of Residence Inn as we like to have a kitchenette. This was the worst we have even been to. Utensils were all nonstick. Not a single steel utensil. Staff was cordial.
