Great stay! A wonderful country house in a superb location. Waking up to the sound of roosters and enjoying a freshly prepared homemade breakfast was the ultimate reset after living in a big city. The beds were super comfortable, and the design of the place is very stylish. A dream stay!

The shower drain in the third-floor family room was draining poorly.

The facility was incredible; the surroundings and yard are beautiful and the family who own it were so nice and welcoming. Cybil went out of her way to make us comfortable. My husband got food poisoning at a restaurant and Sylvie drove me to a pharmacy to get medication for him. Even with this 'hiccup' our visit here was so nice. nothing

The owner was lovely and the surroundings of the house were charming. We found the beds very basic yet comfortable enough. More light in the bedrooms would be nice.

This was a great experience on a micro farm. The host Cybil and her husband were great ,informative of thier farm and engaging. It was well equipped with coffee machine and hot water for tea. Loved playing with thier dogs. The one that looks like a Lab lives to.play fetch with a stick.

We had breakfast outside in the most beautiful setting. Our host was so kind and attentive and laid down a sweet tablecloth and had homemade breads and custard and delicious jams and honey, everything from their garden! It was delicious! One of my favorite times our whole entire trip. It was so charming!

This property has been in the same family for 20 generations, over 500 years. There’s a pride of ownership that is evident. We had the use of the living room and dining room as well as our bedroom and it was charming. The homemade breakfast was out of this world. With eggs and honey and jam that were sourced on the property. We were given a wonderful recommendation for dinner that looked right at Mont Saint Michel. Nothing

Good location to visit the Mon St. Michael. The host recommended us the town with restaurants nearby. Nice sweet breakfasts. Quite rural area for those who want to have an escape from big cities. The pillows are really small but additional ones are available. No door to the toilet and shower room, just curtains.

Lovely family, authentic house, farm animals. Very specific time frame for check in, however it’s common in all region.

It’s a super relaxing french country house. The host family is very kind, as well as the 2 pretty dogs! Bbq is tasty, recommend a stay here!

This French farmhouse was SO charming - we enjoyed having the quiet, the parking, the views, and the proximity to Mont Saint Michel. The hosts were just lovely! They served us a breakfast with homemade bread and jams and eggs straight from their farm; you can tell they enjoy what they're doing and are excited to share this with guests! The only opportunity we'd like to share with the hosts is the type of pillows. We are side sleepers, so we would have been more comfortable with more and firmer pillows.

Staying at La Vieille Foulonnière: Chambres d’hôtes & Permaculture was an unforgettable experience—one of those rare gems that linger in your memory long after you’ve left. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Sibylle and her lovely family, whose kindness and hospitality set the tone for a truly special visit. The house itself is a beautifully restored 16th-century residence full of character, history, and charm. Every corner tells a story, yet the comforts are thoroughly modern and thoughtful. It’s the perfect blend of rustic elegance and relaxed countryside living. The tranquil grounds, shared with two affectionate dogs, a happy brood of hens, and waddling ducks, create an idyllic setting straight out of a pastoral dream. Waking up to birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves, followed by a delicious homemade breakfast crafted with love and ingredients from the garden, was the perfect start to each day. Sibylle’s passion for permaculture and sustainable living adds a meaningful and enriching layer to the experience. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and feel part of a beautiful rhythm of life. I left with a full heart, rested spirit, and a promise to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authenticity, peace, and genuine warmth in the French countryside.

This place will remain in my heart. Old typical country house with a huge garden and some lovely animals. Last but not least, the breakfast! Simple flavors and delicious. All was home made. I would like to come back :)

Truly amazing place. Breakfast was nice, though, I would rather have it less sweet.
