The private beach is only a 5-minute boat ride away and features baldachins, loungers and parasols, available at a surcharge. The Blue Flag awarded beach with its pristine and clear sea is 1312 feet away. The elegantly decorated rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen satellite TV and a mini-bar. The breakfast was unbelievable--huge and of such high quality. It was nice to have the option to sit outside each morning. We loved having a room with a balcony overlooking the water. Location was perfect.

We had some difficulty finding the parking… and i expected the beach to be right in front of hotel but it wasn’t. However, we were able to take the free shuttle to Isabella island and we really enjoyed the beach there.

The breakfast was good. And the location is good. AC didn’t work that well, someone came to get it to turn on. It seemed to turn off in the night and the room was hot and difficult to sleep. Room was super small. The website described it as beachfront. It isn’t beachfront it is water front- the beach is down the street a bit.

Location was great, food options were wonderful. Brunch right after breakfast is the best idea ever. Room was a bit claustrophobic for me without much of a view, bathroom had drainage issues.

Location to ferry hopper and restaurant on site. We enjoyed happy hour upon arrival . We didn’t know that there was no elevator so we should have requested lower level rooms. We did have assistance from staff checking in.

- Room service was good. - The city doesn't permit car access to the hotel so that guests can leave luggage. We don't blame hotel for this inconvenience. However, we would expect heads up so we could better prepare ourselves. We only got the following information where they inform us about free parking: "For guests staying at the Valamar Riviera Hotel & Residence, parking is ensured in the Žatika parking, 1 km away (address: Karla Huguesa 26, Poreč) at the price of € 5 per day." - Bread that was served during breakfast wasn't fresh.

This property was in a great location and had excellent services. We enjoyed the champagne in the afternoon and a fantastic breakfast. The lighting over the sink in the bathroom was not great. For the ‘double bed’ they just pushed two beds together with no effort to make it one. We have had this situation before but they put linens on so there it was more like a double bed. Saying that the beds are comfortable ?

Location, breakfast & brunch was exceptional!! Aircon in room TOO hot! When phoning to ask for this to be rectified, were told to open the window - which we had to do, but resulted in SUPER noise, as there were a bar and walking alley directly below our room.
