This is a very chill location, the ambiance is relaxing and dinner was great.Althea is very knowledgeable of the area. Amazing view of the ocean and close to the town. The sign made it easy to find.

Felt welcomed on my arrival and throughout my stay Even though I was advised of an issue with the toilet and that it was fixed, I still had some issues and had to turn off the pipe below ao couldn't use the bath room during the night. But other than that everything was great.

BIG SCAM . NEVER got any response for directions when I arrived in JA . Booking this was a huge waste of time.

The owners were friendly and helpful and provided us with everything we needed. The location is beautiful. It's a basic guest house with basic facilities. The host picked us up (for a fee) from the bus station in the evening which was very helpful. There was a common area and (Italian) food was available.

The location was easy to find, and is centrally located close to several beaches, rivers and the famous Boston Jerk Center. The sea view from the veranda was very calming. The quietness of the neighborhood was exactly what my family and I needed. We got a true chance to bond and rejuvenate. The venue was clean and tidy, the rooms were spacious making TOGA an ideal place for a family or couples retreat. Our visits to Winifred Beach which was great, my family visited twice during our stay. There was also a space to park our vehicle on the property which was a plus. Our host Althea and Alfio were very nice and made our stay comfortable. I would definitely visit again. I wished a working television was in the sitting room to further enhance our family bonding experience while on the property during our down time. However, this was not a major deal breaker as WiFi access was on the premises and worked very well.

Clean room, peaceful vibes and they have the chillest cat named Boots. Althea is lovely and I enjoyed insightful conversations.

It was exceptionally clean, comfortable beds. Hosts great people, and they made amazing breakfast - the best one we've had in Jamaica. Althea's peanut porridge was 10+.Great location, very close to local beaches. There was nothing to not like

Great hosts and interesting old house.

Althea and Alfio were superb hosts. Lovely original character bungalow home (maybe 1950s) and we were lucky enough to have the double ensuite - beautiful view through both bedroom windows while drinking first coffee in bed. Alfio was an excellent cook and catered for my wife’s gluten-free diet on the two occasions we ate at the house. Highlights of our stay was watching Alfio DJ at the Vinyl Club’s ‘Vinyl Sunday’ night (highly recommended), dancing in the street, and of course our morning chats on the veranda with Althea (highly recommended also). We stayed in February 2025. Lovely welcome and stay, no negative points for us

The hospitality of the owners Alfio and Altea, the delicious breakfasts that Alfio prepared for us every morning - big portions and varied food, he's a professional chef! - and fish, the relaxed atmosphere, beautiful rooms, and veranda. And the beautiful Boston Beach that you reach by a 10 minute walk. Actually I liked everything ?

Alfio and Althea have a great place in the heart of Portland. A walkable distance to Boston beach and places near it. Alfio himself is a great guy with a lot of travel experience, which shows in his incredible hospitality. And thanks Althea for sharing your herbal tea! Boots, the cat is one of the laziest day-time sleepers you'll ever meet :D Great internet connection and perfect if you're remote working, I would recommend to book long stays here! And then the highlight of staying here - the food! Alfio has magic in his hands! Some incredible Italian food with a touch of island fusion here and there! I kept coming back for food even after moving to other places :D Thanks for everything, Alfio! See you again! Be prepared for the mosquitoes in Portland and get a bug spray, but they have it covered with mosquito nets on the beds! ?

The guest house is located in close proximity to a few great spots. Highly recommend the Blue Lagoon! The room we booked was spacious and clean. It's hard to keep the bugs out, but they do provide a mosquito net. Alfio and Althea are welcoming and helpful hosts. Fantastic breakfast! This was a great option for our budget. It would have been fantastic to have access to a kitchenette, but we knew that since the guest house offers meals, it wasn't possible, which is understandable.

I’ve had a very pleasant stay with Elthie and Alfi. They are nice friendly people. The room was clean and spacious, the location good, close to Boston Beach. I’ve enjoyed morning conversations with Elthie on the Veranda with a nice view. Stayed longer than the night I’ve booked. Recommended!

Rustic, clean and comfortable. Excellent professional hosts. Alfio, is a first class chef and his meals are spectacular. So much so that I didn’t want to eat anywhere else. Presentation was out of this world. Alfio , I hope I got the name right is Italian and is Chicken Alfredo is divine. Breakfast are fabulous. His beautiful Jamaican wife Althea cooks beautiful ackee and is a craft woman in her own right make lovely crochet outfits It’s hard to find if you don’t have a sat nab, it’s dark and raining because the sign is down. So a new preferably light reflecting sign would do the trick. Apart from that nothing else is needed.

The bed was comfy, and the view of the sea was amazing it was quiet and peaceful. The owners were friendly, and the room was spacious Free WiFi The bathroom cabinet kept falling on me I scrated my arm on a pipe in the shower No refreshments
