Pleasant big clean room with small balcony, private bathroom, warm friendly hosts, easy walk to shops and attractive Portimao waterfront. Beach is also within walking distance, say 25 minutes, nice beach!

Nothing. Everything could be newer and better but all was fine.

First off the staff are friendly and that really makes a difference. Room was clean. No lift and no kettle but not a deal breaker.

Very friendly and helpful owners. They were happy to give good recommendations about where to eat etc. Room had everything that I needed and the location was convenient for shops and snacks. I thought it was far from the bus station as shown on Google maps but there is an intercity bus station by the riverside which is quite close. It was all good except some of the plumbing was a bit noisy and I had the bad look that the person in the upstairs room left their toilet water running alll night which was difficult to sleep through. The flush system was unusual so it might be a good idea to put a sign clarifying that people need to make sure they manually stop the flush.
