Holiday Inn Airport - Portland by IHG

The only minor complaints we had was the pool was pretty darn chilly, the blackout curtains don’t close for some reason and the WiFi was out the whole time we were there. Bogus. Not actually angry, just minor things. Overall though, the room was clean, we had TV and their restaurant was actually fairly reasonably priced and delicious! We decided to make it our hub airport hotel the next time we fly west. Oh! The staff were also incredibly friendly and patient with us! Very smiley and bubbly, it made the experience much more enjoyable!

The room was clean.

Wildflower 35 is nice and close to the village, but the towel rack, and the patio drape rack kept falling down with each use. I suspect the towel rack is from high summer use, but the patio drape bar is probably too short to stay connected when the patio drape is opened for patio access. The ceiling has a water leak, which is evident by wood stains, which may be causing the spider population to increase in the unit.

The restaurant did not have salad available for a meal. The food as mediocre at best.

Consumer beware! We didn’t see no free guest breakfast. They charged $16 a person per guest for breakfast and it wasn’t any better than anywhere else for free. I might even say it was worse. You couldn’t even make a hot waffle or pancake there. The bacon was underdone and my granddaughter was trying to find a crispy piece of vacant eat. The whole thing was pretty sad. Don’t bother eating there. They did not allow you to make a breakfast tray and take it to your room.

Made a reservation and I tried to check in and it was fully booked I drove an hour for no room available

The staff was friendly and rooms were fairly clean. I would not recommend the dining options and found better options that deliver. Parking should really be included… it’s $10/day. The property is overall comfortable but dated, pool ceiling was looking a little rough

The carpet is horrible is broken

Room seemed clean but decor is outdated and beat up, everything needs a little update. The hallways felt old and dated. The luggage cart and elevator combo were a little frustrating. It served our purpose of a last minute place to stay and we did receive a Mountain View on a high floor as promised but wouldn’t be running to stay here again. Staff were kind enough but didn’t give much direction of where to park or how to get to the room.

They claimed to have 24hr shuttle service and we had to take a cab to hotel after returning our car rental. That was an added expense not happy about that

I enjoyed my stay. The only comment I can make is that there should be a bottle of water, gratis, for each room. Otherwise, it was great.

The hotel was by a really shady looking area, the curtains were ripped and dirty and it was so loud. You can hear everything and everyone!
