Great location!

My suite was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. You can’t ask for better than that!
-
Nice but small lobby. Great check-in. Room was good size with clean large bathroom. Very good breakfast place in hotel. All staff were friendly and helpful.
-
Lovely spot in Portland - great retro feel while still having all the amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall, good place. Very cool bar! Love the old time movie theme of the entire hotel. My room could use an update. The sink didn’t drain well. It was a VERY hot day and the AC couldn’t handle it. Room service was unresponsive unfortunately. Overall i’d go there again because of price and location.

This establishment is well maintained and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was small but ample and extremely quiet. The on-site dining was great. Breakfast was filling and delicious. It helped start the day especially when I had a full day of activities to complete. The convenience of other nearby restaurants allowed for easy dining and light rail (2 blocks around the corner) made getting around a breeze.

It's a nice hotel but an older building so the AC was not working properly for how hot it was and I had to request a fan. It helped a little. Extra coffee in the morning is hard to get/find, especially if you sleep in. The restaurants there are nice

a pet fee is fine but $60 is more than I have ever paid, with no pet it would have been reasonable.

The hotel looks amazing along with its theme. However, the attitude was terrible, simply did not care about the customer. Do NOT stay in room 327. The large AC for the hotel is next to window. The noise was terrible. The couch was in bad condition and covered with cheap nylon cover ( did notstay in place) it was such a shame as we lookedforward to staying here. We arrived an hour before check in at 4pm!! Other guests arriving after us were checked in. We waited, despite going to reception. When we complained about the noise during the night and in themorning, the response from the Supervisor was that she was sorry we were noise sensitive. Zero empathy. This kind of service can entirely ruin a stay. Unfortunately bad customer service impacts everything.

The hotel showed normal wear and tear for its age but the decor was amazing. Old Hollywood surrounds you at every turn. We will be back!

Brunch was great and the atmosphere was so fun.
-
How is beautiful, so convenient; staff are welcoming and so helpful.
-
Charming old hotel with (mostly-) delightful young staff, cosy & quiet rooms, and solid food and drink.
-
We booked on the second floor but the day before were told we’d be on the 4th which was difficult for my disabled friend who can’t do elevators. Also the toilet made a loud sound when flushed. Finally breakfast service seemed a little slow. But food was good.
-
Even considering it’s an old hotel, the mattress was terrible. The bathroom also needs improvement.
-
This hotel needs total renovation / gut out and rebuild as it is literally falling apart. The staff told me that the building is over 100 years old

We booked 2 rooms months ago, on check in we were in different floors! As a family this shouldn’t happen. Furniture in room 211 was mismatched poor quality, room looking out straight across to another room. Receptionist on check in really didn’t seem to know what was going on, had to request toilet rolls, hand soap (that never appeared) it was almost as if things hadn’t been checked beforehand, a real shame as lobby etc were smashing. Incidentally, room 301 is no more than a broom cupboard

The location was great. The bar was great. The staff and food; amazing. Although it's a older and historic building, it was in exceptionally great shape...clean and well kept. We plan to return...definitely recommend... There is parking available for a fee. After hours the attendant is gone and you have to call the front desk for assistance. The parking arrangements/instructions are not clear in my opinion. The signs posted says go to the 2nd floor to exit by foot after hours. In fact you do go to the second floor and then walk around, down to the street level entrance (level 1) to exit the building by foot. If you happen to use the elevator to go to level 1, that access will be closed after hours and you might not be able to access a foot path to the street level entrance/exit. We came down to the front desk a few times and couldn't find an attendant!!

Class. Pure class. And they had a peloton.

The facilities were clean The air conditioner was a bit underpowered.
