Small parking. Property across the street not in the best shape. Shower had a low pressure

Parking is abysmal. Very tight spots with inadequate spaces for the number of guests and their cars, even for our compact car. At times we had to park at the end of a long row, where there was only one way in and we had to back the same way out (narrowly missing the side of the building on the left side and the parked cars on the right).

This is a nice little place in downtown Portland within easy walking distance to Burnside street, 23rd avenue, and Washington Park. Go for at least the mid sized room, as the smallest ones are tight. Free parking though it can fill up (but finding a spot on the street isn't too difficult). Very helpful staff, great little sitting with coffee and books. They also have a workout room but there is basically nothing in it. The shower water flow is a bit too weak, it appears they use low-flow shower heads (though not sure why, given Oregon has abundant water). Cable TV, refrig in room. Second time I stayed.

The suite was very spacious, daily continental breakfast much appreciated, great location, extremely helpful & friendly staff. Laundry facilities right in the building after 2 weeks on the road was a fantastic bonus. Would definitely stay again & we recommend highly.

It was a little surprising when we pulled up - it looked like we were staying in a very old motel - but the room was clean and nice. The front desk staff were kind and helpful.

Absolutely great in every way. Id come back here again and again. The hospitality is next level. The location is perfect, just down the street from the Rose Garden.

Affordable good place to stay. Not noisy and walking distance to shops and food. Aesthetic is not the strong point here. Elevator can only fit 4 people without any luggage or 2 with small luggage. Exterior of the rooms reminds me of cellblocks in a jailhouse lol. Inside was pretty standard. Love the free water, juice, and oatmeal. Only two of each even though we had four people. There was a huge house fly and a few small ones. No biggie. Bathroom was very cramp and smell a bit. A good scrubbing and squeezing of air fresher will do it wonders. Bathroom had sliding door without lock. So make sure you let others know you're inside or knock before going in. Room only had one blanket so the other two had to make due with the sheets. Bathroom sink was draining slow. Need to be unclogged. Shower was missing a hair strainer and the pressure was low but acceptable. AC was running and functioning perfectly. Love the free self serve coffee and tea. Parking is challenging and space are narrow so if you see a ding or scratch on your car, that would be expected. Overall is an average place to stay for the budget.

A very good hotel option for budget minded travelers outside of downtown Portland. Free parking is a big plus, but it is limited, so I recommend staying in the parking space you find and enjoy dining options in the immediate area, which is a very walk friendly neighborhood. The staff is very good, and the young Front Desk trainee that checked us in even upgraded us to a suite, which is a very nicely appointed room in and of itself. The hotel rate includes passes to the nearby Japanese Gardens, a very worthwhile local attraction that makes the Park Lane one of the best deals in the immediate downtown Portland area.

Good room

The location was perfect for the price for my wife and I. It was maybe a half mile to most of the “attractions,” although we really did not enjoy the city proper very much. There was a good pizzeria right around the corner that we walked to. Overall I would recommend this place to any traveler looking for a good location, for a good price with not a lot of unnecessary frills.

This was the best stay I’ve had since I got to Portland ! Wish I could stay forever
-
Great views, located in a nice, hillside residential neighborhood. The rooms and amenities are good. The beds were comfortable.
-
Parking wasn't so great, tricky. Also had to walk the neighborhood with the dog -no dedicated space for them but the area is beautiful. Will stay there again, Nothing fancy but clean.

"A wonderful stay! The room was exceptionally clean and far better than I anticipated. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. Having convenient parking available at all times was a huge plus. The location is ideal, with a Walgreens just a 3-minute walk away for any travel essentials."

Great location for walking to Rose garden and Japanese gardens.
-
The stay was amazing! Only small complaint was the parking could be a little better.
-
The location was best part. Near Washington park. Room was crawling with spiders and room service was promised but never delivered.

Very good

Extraordinary staff and amenities, including 2 complimentary passes to Portland Japanese Garden. Hotel is conveniently located in Goose Hollow, close to lots of great stuff. Incredible value. Room upgrade, free parking . WOW. An embarrassment of riches!

While staying at Park Lane Suites, I received a text message from the staff letting me know that they had noticed that one of the tires on my car, which I had left in the parking lot, was flat. Their text allowed me to return and get it taken care of that day.
