Cervo Hotel, Costa Smeralda Resort

LOCATION , STAFF WAS HELPFUL. GOOD BREAKFAST. GOOD RESTAURANTS. The captain was completely unprofessional and clearly lacked even the most basic customer service skills. His attitude and the way he spoke to guests were unacceptable and fell far below the standards expected from a luxury hotel. It is astonishing that someone in this position has not been properly trained. The hotel should immediately provide comprehensive customer service training or reconsider whether he is suitable for a guest-facing role.

Staff was incredible, extremely attentive and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and included in our stay. Concierge was extremely helpful with helping us locate activities, lunch and dinner, especially Alessandro! The hotel was extremely clean as well! We will be back! N/A

Absolutely amazing hotel and such a professional concierge service over there. They make your trip super easy and smooth. They restaurants are also excellent. Nothing it was perfect

e We did not like the restaurant Pescatore owned by the hotel but outside the grounds. The Somelier tried to have us order wines over 1,000 euro a bottle and the food waiter ignored the fact that 2 out of 4 of us did not enjoy our meal. This service was in contrast to the excellent service in the hotel

Room was good if furniture a bit dated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel bar and hotel-owned restaurants were the most expensive we've ever encountered. A bit of a shock.

Exceptional

Room felt very dated. The Cervo bar charges 32 Euros for an Aperol Spritz (which is not listed on the menu). No one was very helpful with information about the property - it was windy so I understand not everything was available but they were not clear nor did anyone proactively communicate anything. We also left our car to be parked when we arrived at 12:30 pm with it's hazard lights on. When we went for a walk 4 hrs later, the car was still there with the hazards on. Everything just felt like a miss.

I liked the hotel a lot. I especially liked the boat to the private beach and the nature walk. My room was an issue, the first night we lost electricity until I called the front desk.. there was also a random problem that happened with the toilet, in the middle other night on my first night stepped I water and traced it to the toilet, it happened again on Saturday eventhough it was supposedly fixed. On Saturday when returning to my room at 3;45 pm the room had not been cleaned and both of my room keys were not working. When I went to the front desk they told me it was bc I put both keys near cell phones….this was not true because my husband had his phone in the safe for 2 days. I had to walk all the way back to the front desk, the lady rekeyed my Keyes and when I asked what number I should call if the keys did not work again, I was told to do …9 on my room phone. Well that makes no sense if I can’t get I. In the room, so I asked to speak to someone who spoke English and the front desk gave me a hard time; they were rude.. then about an hour later again stepped in water in my room that we traced back to the toilet meaning twice I have stepped in by pee. Called the front desk, not sure if they came an fixed it

It was truly the staff that make this place magical. I can’t praise the Concierge team enough. CHRISTIAN is an absolute Sardinian legend. The things he researches and checks for you to make sure your time is amazing. Tullio is a humble and absolute expert gentleman. He was willing to map out every trail for you. Alessandro was the nicest young man. This concierge team is literally the best on the island. Humble. Incredibly knowledgeable, and will make you laugh nonstop. The breakfast was really great. Andrea always had a smile On his face to help and made sure we started our day in the best possible way. The porter’s Roberto / Emmanuele — such nice guys who would always help, never expected a tip. The room was gorgeous felt like you were in a reimagining of the 1960s glamour. Spotless clean. Beautifully appointed. Not a single thing out of place. That we didn’t stay longer

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly? The private beach was a treat… breakfast was great. And the location was good to get to other nearby places.
