Breakfast variety and most important the quality was excellent! Nothing

Beautiful property with an amazing beachfront location. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Restaurant offered a delicious breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. We enjoyed all the above. Had live music performed each night under the stars. Everyone we encountered during our time here offered exceptional and friendly service. Special mention to the two gentlemen that attended to the bar in the evening. They made our stay even more memorable with their friendly conversations and recommendation. Nothing! Everything was great!

Very comfortable room with gorgeous view Waiting staff hovering around dinner table. No egg station at breakfast. Restaurant prices are way too high even for a top end hotel.

Fabulous location, luxurious and secure. Incidentals like a beer or a coffee, any spa treatment or water sport, are absurdly expensive. For example, a beer is €15, but is €6 a five minute walk away on the next beach. Limited service on beach/by the pool - having to use an App to order is not exactly premium customer service.

I liked the difference of the property from other hotels I’ve been to, it had character in the gardens. However the service from the manager could definitely be improved on. I didn’t like the manager, I thought she was not hospitable at all and I basically had to ask for everything I got. It wasn’t a naturally caring atmosphere, it was more about money. I’ve been to hotels that have cost a lot less than this hotel and the service has been impeccable and I’ve been to hotels that have costed more than this and the service has been a lot better. For example in Dubai, I stayed at the Burj Al Arab, service was incredible. I’ve also stayed at hotels where it’s been a lot less money and service was amazing as well. This hotel needs a revamp and it needs to keep up with the times. Don’t expect to be getting one of those nice modern rooms they are advising unless you’re paying 5000 euros a night. Now if you are paying that, I think the breakfast could be a lot nicer and they should sort out the bug problem for when you’re eating you’re breakfast, so you aren’t stressed waking up and having to push away all the flys and bugs, coming towards your food. If you scroll down a little further you will see the actual room you’re paying more than 2000 euros a night. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the tradition Italian beach design of the rooms, but I definitely don’t need to be paying 4000 Aud on hotel rooms that I can book an Airbnb for the same design and pay a quarter of the price. I’ve never done one of these reviews before but it had to be done as I was NOT impressed at all. Overall the price charged for the rooms are not worth it, this hotel is overpriced for what you will be getting. The only nice thing of the hotel was the convenience of the extra activities near the hotel like water sports and shops. However I’m sure there are better places in Porto Cervo for that money you will be paying. You basically are only paying for the name of the hotel and the “status”.

Superb

Very disappointing - a one star room at a five star price. It was dark and dank and the bed felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The beach chairs were so close together I heard every word and had to leave. The pool was unappealing and painted blue.

Staff were beyond impressive. The location is stunning. Food good. Villa with pool was amazing. Spa. Was poor.
