Was clean, bed comfortable and spacious lobby. Spacious bathroom. Staff in the reception ( manager was rude) I paid for the hotel in advance but they couldn’t find the payment and told me to pay again. Later, my bank checked and said that they sent the payment back few days later without informing me. I asked few times on booking message before coming if they received the payment but no reply. Manager lied to me that these massages go to booking.com not to the hotel which is not true. I know because I cooperate with booking myself and all the messages customers write are seen in the system immediately. Also swimming pools were disappointment. One on the roof was closed without any reason when we went there - no info when it’s going to be open. We didn’t go there any more. The one inside has no air con and was so hot inside like on sauna and no one was able to use it. Breakfast was sth for 3 star hotel - very basic. In the room you can’t close the glass door in the bathroom there is no lock, and it’s missing privacy. When you sleep you hear every sound from the bathroom in the bedroom.

Clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. Everything was nice.

The wait staff at breakfast were very rude.

The gym is quite basic. It only has cardio machines, a cable machine, and dumbbells. There is a somewhat rough area nearby.

Staff friendly and everything was very clean. Tap in room 1413 made weird noises and the pressure changed a lot. Only on the hand basin.

We liked everything about this hotel - rooftop pool, indoor pool; hotel personnel were all so helpful/friendly; great food in restaurant and friendly waiter; really liked the room with wooden door separating bath area, great shower, tasteful room. Nothing we didn't like.

Mattress was very firm but that's just a personal preference.

Comfortable but further from downtown Porto than I expected from the description.

The hotel refused to honor a second night from booking but made me pay more in person.

Our room was large and very comfortable, the staff were nice, nice breakfast, location not far from 2 large Grocery stores! Only thing for me was so far to get to the River for boat rides! We thought it was close, but a long Uber drive. Hotel is in middle of City, so it was a long drive to get on freeway to see Coastal towns. It was worth the driving time to see the Coast, especially Nazare! And the town with the Gondolas and waterways.

It is quite far from the center and it is not easy to get transportation in the city.

The pool indoor and outdoor was great in the summer, the evening restaurant was great quality. Breakfast was complete and abundant The reception staff was awful! They refused to answer questions or at least seemed bothered every time we approached them. The bell staff was more helpful. I am not sure how the reception staff has not received feedback or training on how to welcome others, be helpful, and provide information. They seemed disengaged and could not be bothered with tourist questions like where is the bus to so and so, or how do I get a bus ticket seemed to annoy them. I felt like I was not heard, helped or welcomed to engage with them. PLEASE fix this!

Room size AC didn’t work. Very warm. Had to leave early

airco was not working properly, so too hot in the room. room next door had very loud guests both nights we had to call reception to deal with them (2am) too far from porto centre reservation was messed up by either booking.com or hotel so lost money and time on dealing with that.....it was cancelled while i had already paid, they then reimbursed (lower amount in CAD than what I paid, when I rebooked I paid original price plus an additional amount on site for taxes 18euro which made the price higher than my original booking. a big mess, not impressed.
