A La Carte breakfast rather than help yourself buffet which was an unexpected novelty - served at your table & excellent quality. Associated restaurant - so could eat at the square outside without fighting with the crowds along the waterfront

A lovely hotel near to the waterfront. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide choice of high quality options and it was included with our room. There are parties in our room on arrival and the staff were extremely helpful. Would boom again

Perfectly located in the heart of Ribeira, with beautiful modern and comfortable rooms. The staff were warm and friendly throughout our stay. We were greeted with a sample platter of fresh local pastries, were offered a complementary glass of Port wine at their affiliated restaurant and with a 20 percent discount on meals there. The complementary breakfast was really worth it - generous portions that you could order from the kitchen based on a varied menu of options for all breakfast tastes. Overall a wonderful expérience. Honestly, no notes.

Wonderful facility with a very kind staff! The room was excellent with upscale finishes and a comfy bed! One thing to note is that if you’re bringing rolling luggage you'll need to navigate a few blocks of rolling it up and down cobblestone stone streets when you arrive and depart since it is in a pedestrian only zone.

Everything was simply amazing…staff, location, comfort, cleanliness and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, simply to die for. Absolutely nothing.

Great location and room with a view. Cleaned every morning which was great. Breakfast was poor. Surprised that reviews were so positive about the breakfast as I’d say it was mediocre at best.

Absolutely lovely little hotel, amazing service and great staff. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. All the facilities were modern and well-kept. The toiletries provided were lovely. The breakfast was great and involved ordering as many items as you wanted from a varied menu. As a gluten free guest, I found there were plenty of options I could have, including fruit, porridge, toast and even mini pancakes. The location was right on the riverside, next to lots of places to get food and drinks. We would love to stay again! :) Loved everything! :)

Location We asked for a quiet twin room. The room we were given had a connecting door (single door, whereas most hotels have double door with sound insulation when not being used as a connected room). We could hear every word and toilet flush etc from connecting room. Why, when the architect has made such an interesting conversion, were such obvious omissions allowed? Also noise from room above.

Location of hotel was superb. Right beside riverfront. And close to all the activities. Loved everything

Great staff, really friendly and helpful, great breakfast and great location. The AC was not working correctly, sometimes (at random) the room got really hot and then started to cool again, happened a few times and same for the shower water it was going between hot and cold.
