The convient location, friendly staff, really good breakfast As it is in the centre, there is a lot of noise from the street, cars honking (a lot), sirens etc. If you’d like a good night sleep, bring earplugs.

Close to everything and comfy. No free luggage storage. It's very expensive for a hostel to charge 7€ for 6 hours of luggage storage! It's a backpack hostel and we travel on a budget! !

The room and common areas were very clean. The bed and bed linen were comfortable and clean. The shower in the room was very good. The towels were clean and fresh. The bathroom was spacious and cosy. The breakfast was quite good for the price. It can be quite noisy at night. This is not really the hotel’s fault, but rather a result of the central location. I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper and want to get a good night’s sleep.

Excellent breakfast and location. Small dormitories and comfortable beds. Noisy traffic outside that was constant.

24h check in was great - I arrived around 8pm and was checked in within 30 minutes, despite a large party ahead of me. Staff were very communicative and helped me plan around a large event in the city. Room was very clean and had clearly marked areas for each bed (stayed in a 6-bed dormitory). Bathroom connected to the room was clean, if not super fancy. Room was not full - 4/6 beds were taken - and ran into no issues there. Breakfast was delicious and filling, which was perfect before a day of port tasting Location was the best part! They aren’t kidding when they say “central.” It’s right in the middle of everything, with good access to port houses across the river and plenty of restaurants, shops, and historic buildings within a few blocks. Also looked like they had many great amenities. I didn’t have time to take advantage of them, unfortunately. My bed was not the comfiest and rather loud, so I worried about disturbing others in the room during the night. The room was on the warmer side, but not egregiously so. Biggest issue was noise (car horns honking outside) but earplugs fixed that quickly. I also noticed some cleanliness issues in the common area (mainly a mug had been left out by a guest, which had attracted fruit flies). Overall, no huge issues though!
