Comfortable bed, Gardens at the back were pretty and air con in the room worked well. Location was pretty good being 15/20 mins to the water and only 10 mins into the town. The street the hotel is on is lively at night but not rowdy. Staff not at all friendly upon check in (checking out the lady was absolutely fine), rooms very dated and didn't look like the pics on the website. Had a double suite with showers well past their best. Breakfast area very cramped and the food choice was very limited. Paid for breakfast for all 3 days but only used first day and eat out for the other 2. Whole place in need of some love and attention to make it feel lighter and brighter.

Location is great. Good staff. Leave a bag at hotel if you have late flight. At some art all was amazing but last couple of days someone smoke a lot somewhere around and all this sheet go to our room.

Great location! Clean rooms!

Convenient location. Walking distance to main attractions and metro station. Lounge and balcony available for use for guests. One of the staff members has a friendly dog who is often in the lounge. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Clean room and common areas. Good wifi signal. The receptionist was friendly and approachable. Air conditioned room. The shower had good water pressure even though I was on the top floor. There is also a stairlift up to the first floor for anyone who has accessibility needs. The building doesn't have a lift.

Good location. Good shower, bed, Wi-Fi. Nice motorized roof window. No windows except the one on the roof. The air doesn't circulate much.

Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful There are a couple of friendly hotel cats too The garden area was really nice - we spent a bit of time reading in the sun in the evenings. We were able to do our laundry in the outdoor basin and use the line to dry it (although the weather was not particularly favourable and we were playfully teased by the cleaning ladies about this) - there is also a fairly affordable laundromat within a 3min walk The hotel is super close to a lot of different locations - it's a longer walk to the river but not something that bothered us We stayed in a room of 3x single beds - it was spacious and clean. Bathroom was simple but there's a common one in the hallway. Air conditioning was welcome after a couple of fairly hot days. Overall we had a really nice stay at Hotel Estoril Breakfast was sufficient for what it is - a bit of fruit, some cereals, and toast and jam. Milk for cereal wasn't cold would be the biggest downside. It's enough to get you started for the day if you are someone who eats breakfast first thing (it was worth it for me). If you are willing to wait and go down the road for a more complete breakfast this probably isn't worth it for you. There is no lift in the hotel - we were on the first floor so it wasn't a big issue but if you were on a higher floor you might want to think about how easily you can carry your luggage

Good location in a nice district with plenty of restaurants nearby, a short 10/15 minute walk to a couple of metro stations, three supermarkets within 5 minutes for your odds and sods. The garden is lovely, and, great to relax in with some snacks and wine [buy locally as the hotel has no bar.] The Hotel owner speaks perfect English and offers good advice. The hotel is on a pedestrian street so no real traffic noise, but a garden view is nicest. Get a tourist map from reception, it will be very useful. It's a no frills hotel, but is fine, and a great location for food and other transport access. Uber cars are prolific so easy to get a car to your destination. OK... you get what you pay for, but I like hotels with a bar and restaurant for when you really can't be bothered to step outside the front door. Not a big deal really. No Kettle or refreshment facilities in the room, just two paper cups. Supermarket opposite the front door though. No lift [elevator] so it's a slog to the top floor if you're tired from Porto hills and sightseeing.

really incredible location and has a beautiful garden and terrace that was great to have available. room was a good size, clean, and staff for the most part knew very good english and were friendly and helpful. room had AC and the area/property was not noisy. there's also a stair lift which i thought was a nice touch for improving accessibility to the upstairs rooms lots of plug sockets in the room but only one by the bed, and we had breakfast included which was continental but it was quite limited and not the greatest quality. convenient to have it there but there's so many better, affordable options nearby you may as well go out
