Everything, I firmly believe the bathroom was made by a woman. Everything was super clean and nice. The staff also was very helpful and friendly. 10/10

The location was perfect. The staff was very friendly. You can walk to different places around Porto from this location. The lift is quite small if you are traveling with big luggage.

There was significant mold in the room, and we actually had to request a new room due to it. The new room was better but still moldy. You could tell as soon as you walked in through the door, and while you could improve the smell by airing out the room by opening the terrace, it was not possible to do so at night due to traffic noise. The mold is due to Porto's humid climate, and I also noticed that they use steam cleaners to clean the rooms. They should ideally have dehumidifiers or some other measure to manage the humidity in the rooms. The humidity/mold issue is so bad that in the first room, the bathroom door could not close fully and the baseboards near the bathroom were peeling off due to moisture. Also, this didn't bother me, but we stayed while the World Cup was playing. In the nearby Praca Dom Joao, they were livestreaming the games in real time, so it was cool to watch while teams were playing. However, it gets very loud and if you are hanging out in your room, you can hear the announcer and crowd cheers until around midnight.

Great location and clean rooms Nice balconys and terrace in one of the rooms. Hilary at the front desk is very friendly and super helpful. i would definitely go back . I stayed an extra night and I changed rooms. The ac did not work in the middle of the night in this new room and I did not want to open the balcony door because of the mosquitos.. Thats the only thing I would say.

Perfect for our needs

The location was great and near the market. Since the Porto soccer team won the championship, the entire country seemed to descend on Porto to celebrate the night we were staying there. I don’t think there was a quiet place anywhere in the city to stay. The blackout curtains were great. The bed or pillows smelled a bit musty.

Great location … friendly staff Room very tight … good thing only one person, not sure where a second person would put their bag.

Central location Reception area could be brighter and receptive of guests. Same with the common space outside the rooms.

Location is perfect, almost all sights are on the walking distance, very nice neighbor! Room is spacious, very clean, we were on a 4th floor with terrace, no noise from the streets Rooms are not so sound proof, you hear cleaning in the morning like in your room :(

Warm and friendly receptionists - whoever was on duty was helpful and kind. There was a kettle and mugs in my room. The bed was big, comfortable and the room was spotless. Bathroom immaculately clean and the shower was great. Helpful local information as to where to eat/best airport taxis. Central location. Great value. 24/7 access/ Dietary requirements can be addressed with prior notice.

The front door was a little hard to open, and the check-in process was unclear.
