Hotel Oliver

Located on the seaside, private beach, pools, garden, playground for children, hotel bar with ice cream selection. Super system with designated sunbeds on the beach and unique half board system. There is a buffet mainly with starters and desserts and you can preorder main courses from a menu. The garden bar was not open, at lunchtime the hotel bar had only salads and toasts from the menu. The whole staff of the hotel looked sad all the time, the only person who had a friendly smile every evening was Mr. Moro Ginsj.

Location is amazing - exactly on the beach, there are facilities at the beach which belongs to the hotel, so we had our dedicated place The hotel is a bit outdated, breakfast is really limited, even without good coffee ?

I booked this hotel because they offered connected rooms so it looked perfect for a family with two kids. At arrival we didn't get the rooms we booked, we got two separated rooms. They admitted they made a mistake but now they cannot help. They didn't even try to compensate us, we felt they are laughing at us that we make a problem out of it. Yes, it was a problem for us and they did not care. I was pushy and managed to get a small compensation at the end but the bad feeling remained.

Except of quiet location with private beach, very bad experience. - Employees do not speak english - Very arrogant receptionist - You can not control air condition in the room - only from the reception (AC is very noisy) - Rooms and especially bathroom is very small - Parking is huge mess - Commom spaces (hallways, stairs) are pretty dirty - Gym is not existing - They have bikes for rent which is good but they need to be repaired and fixed - The distance from Caorle is not 3km as written (it actually is air line distance) - by walk it is more than 7km and it takes 1h40minutes

The property is not new and exhibits a 1980s type of charm, but is well kept and clean. Loved the very friendly staff. We enjoyed dinner for two evenings and it was delicious. Highly recommended. The private beach property was wonderful, as was the pool. The noise level was low as well compared to huge beaches in Lignano and other touristy places. Had we stayed longer, we would have enjoyed the garden more. Rooms are VERY small, as is the shower. The bed gave my husband a massive backache. Breakfast was adequate, but a bit boring. It was the EXACT same every single morning, no rotation at all. I missed fresh fruit in the morning. Given that there is lots of fresh fruit for dinner, why not offer the leftovers in the morning?

There was always a lot of fruit for breakfast and for dinner. The friendliness of the staff and management was exceptional. Everything was fine ?

Breakfast was super. Regular cleaning. And a nice pool. Billiard is kinda old. And other playing tools are not taken care of as well. Maybe most people don't mind it, but we wanted to play.

The location was perfect for me, because it was in the centre for a competition. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. They have a free bike rental which was good, but the bikes conditions were not good. They also have a place to leave your baggage. The price was too much for this type of a room. The location from the city centre is quite far and the price should be lower. The condition of the bikes were not good and the tires were almost flat. In my room there were ants and the whole room was decorated a bit weird. I expected more for this price.

Parking spots. Breakfast were fine we didnt expect much because only very few guests were in the hotel. I can imagine that during hi season breakfast must be very good. We got all we need, staff was friendly. Room was small, one TV wasnt working, second TV has no batteries in remote controller. Doors in kids bedroom has no handl. This hotel deserves renovation.

Beach and parking are available next to the hotel. The staff were helpful except the manager lady. The smell was unbearable in the first room. Entering the room the floor carpet smelled of feet and smelly socks. For the first complaint they did not want to provide another room. For the second try we were given a smaller room for one night. (And they said they clean the original room in the morning next day) Next day they wanted us to move back to the original room. We gave it a try but the smell did not disappear. We did not accept the original room, so they provided a carpetless room for the remaining days finally. In 2 of 3 rooms the fridges don't work. The air conditioner also doesn't work in any room. The lowest temperature was 27. Rooms and bathrooms are relatively small. In 1 of the bathrooms black mold was on the ceiling. Two cocktails (they call them cocktails somehow) for Eur 18, see the photo attached.

Friendly staff and good service. Room was small but comfortable, clean and in very good condition. Small balcony gave good views over the Adriatic. Good location right on the beach. The hotel also has a beachfront restaurant a few hundred metres away. Stayed early May, before the summer season had started, so the resort area was very quiet, and the weather was mixed. Enjoyed my stay. , Local ferry to Coerle not operating, which made getting to Coerle more difficult. Understand why as it's quiet, but there is no information on the Coerle website. The above is for information and not a criticism of the hotel which was great.
