Hotel San Giorgio

Lovely boutique hotel that respects Venetian styles while providing the creature comforts. Breakfast was very tasty with hot and cold options. Great location. We weren’t allowed to attend breakfast at 715 for a quick nutritious bite before catching our early ferry even though it was open to a tour group before the official 730 am opening. We were provided with to go bags, but they were filled with carbs and other crackers. Grateful for it, but having had paid for breakfast a more complete bag with fruit or yogurt would have been better received.

Quiet location, right on the beach (with private beach). Hotel very modern/recently renovated and well kept (even freestanding lamps on terrace alingned in a perfect line!) Nice green garden, perfectly maintained. Free use of private beach with sunbeds etc. Pleasant bar inside/on terrace. Room cleaning spotless. Too much "chemistry" in the swimming pool. All the pastries for the breakfast are "too mass produced" (prefabricated), no real fresh stuff we would like to get in Italy. WiFi keeps disconnecting and requiring login through a web page again and again. Not many dining options in neighbourhood (but nearby Rosa dei Venti was very good).

The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast outstanding with a large variety. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There is plenty of parking. The location is excellent. A maintenance problem in the bathroom, but I managed.

The location, the garden was excellent and the beach was exceptional. There were additional facilities for sports and leisure. Some rooms are in need of refurbishment, though they are exceptionally clean.

Room was clean and AC worked fine. Nothing special, but OK. Staff at the reception was really friendly. Breakfast offered everything you need + amazing waffles. Really nice green areas around the Hotel with lots of space to relax. Not crouded at all. Hotel seems freshly renovated. Parking included, plus charging outlet for electric vehicles free of charge, which was very convinient. Unfortunately our room was only on the 2. floor, so the trees blocked the view on the Sea. The Pool cannot keep up with the outside impression of the Hotel and seems a Bit old, but clean. The sea in August was really really dirty. Almost nobody was swimming in it, us included. Not the fault of the Hotel, but still unfortunate.
