Quinta do Sol Praia Hotel

This hotel is very clean and all the staff is very nice and friendly. The breakfast is delicious with many local fruits and food. It’s close to Coroa Vermelha beach, which has natural pools and the water is very warm and clear but you’ll need a uber or taxi to get there.

This is my go to hotel when I'm flying in and out of Porto. Beautiful location right on the beach and near all the tourist attractions. Close to the airport, but not so close that you feel like you're staying there. The staff are super friendly and accommodating (one time, I left some clothes in the bathroom and they mailed them back to us).The rooms are modern and clean and the beds are super comfortable, the breakfast is great too!

the room was worse than in the pictures and the lighs were too white and strong, no side lamps with warm orange light. We asked to change rooms but they told us they were all fhe same.

I loved staying at this hotel! Every member of this staff was so kind and willing to help. I was very thankful for their guidance on which beach to go or how to get some where as this was a trip that was booked quite last minute for me so I didn’t do much research. This is a very comfortable and beautiful hotel. The breakfast is also great with an omelette and tapioca bar. The only critique I have about this property is how slippery the floors are by the pool. Please be careful when walking barefoot there as it is very slippery when wet.

I liked that every one was very friendly The general service was good. I just found that the rooms cleaning could be done earlier. Sometimes 5pm the room wasn't cleaned. I also find the charging 50 reais per stay for the pet is too much. This info is not in their website and I only found out about it after getting in touch with the hotel. I had already paid for my stay so could not change it.

Very close to everything you want to see¿ on a main road so you get traffic noise¿ other than that 10/10 rating¿

The room was great, comfortable and had a great bathroom. I paid 100R$ extra per day for my 2 small dogs and I could not use most of the hotel areas with them (pool deck, bar, not even the restaurant had a separate table that we could sit with the dogs). The staff was more worried about the rules of the hotel than to provide a pleasant experience. Lots of uncalled taxes (e.g. tax to get a towel to use the pool while using the room towel in the pool if forbidden; tax to have plates and cutleries in the room; the price of the items in the fridge was not available). We had to decorate the restaurant and reception phone numbers because there was not even a post-it with those numbers in the room. We had to check out very early to travel and had no option to have a breakfast before leaving. I think you have a great hotel in a great location with an expensive price (specially if the guest have dogs), but need to have more care with the guest experience and really be honest and call out that you are not "pet friendly", just "accept" pets.
