The reception, beach bar/restaurant and main pool were well decorated and had good furniture. The main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) were well served, had various dishes and tasted good. The staff was overall friendly (not on all occasions though). The canopy activities were super nice. 1) the hotel did not give us the room type booked via booking.com, and did not say anything about it either. When asked, they indicated that it was what they had and since it was non-refundable fee, there was nothing they could do about it. 2) the drinks offered were mostly low quality, and there was just different types in each bar e.g. they would only serve Heineken beer (the most “premium” they offered in the beach (10am-5pm)… their good champagne was only served in one of the restaurants, not anywhere else and hence it was restricted to certain hius of the day (not expected for a location that claims “all inclusive” 3) on Friday, the beach bar had one only person at the bar serving all guests, from preparing drinks to pouring beer… so it was queuing. 4) the snacks served in between meals were rather poor (french fries and another deep-fried option such as chicken or pork)… no healthy options available. 5) we were there for three nights and four days, so we’ve skipped room cleaning on days 1 and 2, and had it cleaned on day 3. Upon entering the room, my wife and I noticed that our wallets had money subtracted from them. Curiously not all the money (around 400 BRL total). It was an evident steal. We reported to the hotel management and filed a police report (online service). The management itself did absolutely nothing to help other them telling that their staff was not liable and that “we could go to the police if we wanted”. 6) the place was loud everywhere from 10am to 9pm, no quiet places or lounges to relax. 7) the “gym” was comprised of 1 broken apparel and 2 “ok” escalators. It was all very old and not well maintained. 8) the playground was very small and not well equipped. The overall experience was way below expectations.
