CASA SUKHA HOTEL

Really nice small hotel run by friendly people. Comfortable room and bed, nice pool, quiet, peaceful, adorable dog, sweet cross-eyed cat, good breakfast. I'd happily stay here again. Didn't see the marmosets because I slept too late.

Had a great stay! Would recommend. The property was beautiful and the hosts were very friendly.

The room is very spacious and the decoration of the house is so cute! The only “bad” thing I’d say and it’s not even their fault is about the road to get to the property. It had rained a few days before and it got pretty muddy and bumpy. Everything else was perfect!

We informed the owners in their living room - the one you must walk past to get to your room, that their home was beautiful but by no means a hotel. It is in a residential area, with very little privacy, unkept pool, and no facilities. The owners informed us they have chosen to call it a hotel, because they believed it would bring in more guests. In other words, they are very comfortable with deceiving potential guests in the name of a few bucks. The privacy was so minimum we were forced to seek alternative last minute accommodations. If you are okay with staying inside someone’s home, and require zero privacy, this family house will be wonderful for you. It is by no means a hotel.

Great couple who run the place, very friendly and nice. Very good breakfast and the place is really sweet and delicious. Owners don't really speak much english, but you can get by. Please be aware it's more of a b&b type situation, there is no food available outside breakfast, and nothing within walking distance. You can order pizza to be delivered but that's about it. Also it's a bit hard to find from the road, and it's a drive into town so make sure you have a car. It's a pity you can't walk to anything as it means you can't really drink. Also they have animals on the property, the doggie is lovely, but the cats do pee and it did leave a smell.

Outstanding stay at Casa Sukha while we were in Trancoso! Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. Special thank you to our beautiful hosts, Maria and David (and Noah, the cat) who made the best of our stay! They thought about every detail, from the breakfast to the places recommended. We felt at home since day one. You could feel the happiness and love emerging from their cozy house. Thank you so much for your hospitality, it was a wonderful meeting full of surprises, we will definitely come back as soon as possible! Beautiful and cosy. Nicely decorated. Comfy rooms. Nice swimming pool. In a calm and quiet place, surrounded by nature. Very relaxing. It is the perfect place to get back to after a day exploring Trancoso. The owners are lovely. They are always ready to help and suggest places to go, things to do, etc. We can’t recommend it enough and will definitely come back.
