The steam room, the silence and the bed. In my opinion, this hotel isn’t even worthy of three stars. I spent one night there before catching my flight in Porto Seguro and was treated very poorly. The room was completely damp with the air conditioner dripping water, the outlet didn’t work—which almost made me miss my flight—and the front desk staff were extremely apathetic. They charged me 3 reais for a towel so I could use the sauna for one hour. I was alone, and my room was closer to the sauna than to the reception. When I said I was by myself and would use the room towel since I wouldn’t need all of them, they said I couldn’t. Later, I saw breakfast started at 7am, and I needed to leave at 7am, so I asked if it was possible to have a simple breakfast plate at 6:45. They said no.

I always stay one night at Solar do Imperador when I arrive too early or too late at Porto Seguro heading to Caraiva, Arraial or Trancoso. It is literally in front of the airport, there is a nice pool, jacuzzi, the restaurant is ok too. Worth the night Close to airport

The room we got was sub standard. It was literally next to the reception. The shower was constantly leaking water and the refrigerator was extremely loud (and empty anyways), which made it impossible to sleep through the night. We didn’t get any information about breakfast, check out etc when we arrived. All in all very disappointed about this hotel.

As so many people are complaining about bad wifi.. that was NOT the case. It went perfect. In the room and also in the pool area. The room was clean and had a perfect size. The staff was awesome and super friendly. Obrigada!

The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Mr. Cosme, Mr.Henrique, the restaurant and kitchen staff, as well as the maids, were all very attentive and kind. When I checked in, the bedroom I was given looked completely different from the photos on Booking.com, and the bed was very uncomfortable. I needed to address this with the staff at reception, and they quickly moved us to a room similar to the pictures.

Close to the airport which is what we needed landing at night. Beautiful territory of the hotel, everything in nice polished wood, lotus pond, so many flowers. It was a pleasure to walk through. Plenty options for breakfast and made-on-spot tapioca. Very friendly personnel. Hotel has clearly seen better days. While outside exterior speaks of past glory, rooms inside, eating area are all run down unfortunately. Bright white lights in the room with bare bulbs, flaking paint, old shower, etc. It is well mirrored in the price though so we were not upset.

Horrible location, 2 minutes from the airport ! Rooms are very small, and there were quite a few problems in our stay!

The hotel grounds are really beautiful. The rooms are comfortable. The gardens are so beautiful and create a nice ambience. The breakfast was good! The rooms are basic but comfortable. Some gaps in the doors allow for mosquitoes to potentially enter. However, we were not affected. The hotel is only a few hundred metres from the end of the airport runway, so expect airport traffic noise, thankfully, with limited overnight flights we were only woken by plane noise a few times.

Facilities are great Room is very simple

They don’t have a hit pool

The grounds were gorgeous. Fine breakfast; convenient parking. Walking distance to airport and even historical district. Internet, where it existed, went on and off. The beds had incomplete mosquito netting. Dinner was expensive and they didn’t have most of the wines on their wine list. What they had was quite expensive.

The breakfast was very good, and I loved the poolbar. The location is great as well! And it was really good especially for the price. Would recommend it. It wasn't spotless but it was clean. The room was very tiny, so it was a bit difficult with the big bags.
