I ended up staying here (6+1) seven nights. The negative reviews one sees online appear to be simply wrong or dated. The hotel is surprisingly charming, well -run,and well located -at a very good price point.Helpful and cheerful front desk staff.Excellent medium -sized room.Large modern bathroom. Most rooms have a majestic view of mountains and sea. Pool is good sized with upscale chairs and loungers. Very scenic.Good air con. I had to sleep with windows closed because of the heat wave so I can't say whether there is traffic noise with them open. Breakfast was standard for Corsica ,although there was a home-made fruit cocktail every morning that I appreciated. Lovely breakfast staff, including an affable American guy. With the money I saved staying here I was able to splurge daily on the local Uber, called ,"O Dume" which took me directly to different beach clubs each morning -so I could bypass the free, local standing -room- only electric busses. And picked me up at 5 p.m. each afternoon. Email communication with hotel was top notch. Another advantage of this hotel is that cabs can drive up to the front entrance, unlike some hotels in the nearby (3-minute walk)historic center. All rooms face the morning sun,so they need better curtains to block the sunrise. The room furniture and corridors look well worn ,but there's nothing shabby about this hotel. Wifi at times was poor, but that may be a Corsica issue, not the hotels.

Location and view We were charged for storing our luggage until our room was ready. The 15 Euro breakfast was a disappointment.

Paying for parking, the hard bed , the carpet & the dirty hallways .. the lady on the desk ..is kind & helpful

It was on a good site, with (some) free parking lot. The room was spacious. Too much moisture, the air of the room was bad (no extractor fan in the toilet or bathroom).

Rooms were amazing and just a normal hotel. Location is little far from everywhere.

Staff at the reception was exeptionally friendly. Was able to answer all my questions and give recomendations. Room was very spacious, clean, had balcony with the view to a pool. There was nothing I did not like.

Location 10 minutes walking from center of town At 15.00 room was not ready. Had to wait, no drinks offered. We were not warned when room was ready. Did walk down twice, but reception staff was not present. ? The room smelled awful. As if guests had been smoking for 50 years consecutive. Apart from that stains in the carpet. Airconditioning not working sufficiently, warm in the room. Roller shutter broken, therefore much sunlight in the room. ? Internet frequent not available for short times. ? Overall appearance is poor with lots of damages to walls, doors and missing door knobs. ? Finally at checkout they insisted on receiving tourist tax in cash, which we dit not have. After argument - cards were not accepted for small amounts (it's our rule!) - we had to walk to an ATM, luckily only 50 meters. I lost regrettably my temper in the argument, gladly would have paid 1 euro extra for paying by card. But this solution was not offered. Walk!

Great value for money. Staff were incredibly outstanding throughout my stay and were capable of communicating in multiple languages, very welcoming and accommodating, especially all the girls in reception. Facilities and room were pretty above average and also in a great location, close to old town and all. Handy and free bus around town/marina right across the street. Not only recommend it as I'll surely be back soon.

Very welcoming, friendly, and helpful staff. Rooms were very large, clean, and comfy. Participants of GR20 are not allowed to take their bag to the room (which I understand), however, this was not communicated earlier and not stated in the booking details. If we had known earlier, we could have been more prepared with our belongings instead of spending time in the lobby going through our belongings and taking out what's required
