The Akcent hotel is located on the 7th floor of a 1930s' office building in Functionalist style right at the Anděl metro station and features splendid views over Prague from all of the rooms. Guest can benefit from the near entrance to the metro, it is just 66 feet from the property. A supervised outdoor car park is available at an additional cost for guests' convenience. The spacious and nicely furnished rooms feature a balcony, air-conditioning, hairdryer, safe, a satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a fully stocked mini-bar and free Wi-Fi access. Daily lunch menus and an à la carte menu are served at the restaurant. Friendly and English speaking staff are at guests' disposal 24 hours a day. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the Smichov district, from where several tram lines connect to the center of the city. The picturesque Lesser Town is just a 10-minute ride by the underground or 30-minute walk away. The Anděl City and Zlatý Anděl shopping centers are very close by. Moreover, the Nový Smíchov shopping, business and entertainment center with its 2 multiplex cinemas and several restaurants is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

From outside, the building is not particularly remarkable, but the hotel rooms are at the 7th floor only. They are clean and well fitted. The bathroom seemed renovated and was very pleasant. Breakfast is varied and good. The presence of a metro entrance in front of the hotel door and a Lidl supermarket next door is a good bonus. My room and bed were much smaller and more basic than on most photos but enough for my needs. Here are just a few quibbles which didn't really spoil my stay: - Please note that only tea / coffee is free in the room. Read carefully the notice on the fridge before opening the bags of crisps or almonds placed on the desk on purpose. - Not enough of these small croissants for breakfast. I could get hold of the last two of them only once. - As in many hotel rooms, it is never completely dark at night. - The restaurant also opens for lunchtime on weekdays (but I didn't use it). I wished it would also open for dinner.

It was a clean, comfortable and good value hotel. Easy access to public transport to all the sights. Great restaurants so close to the hotel. The air conditioning was great and much needed in the hot summer. There was a TV in the room but as nothing was in English it wasn't much use. Would have been good to have had access to the likes of Netflix.

we picked the hotel based on the convinient location, its right at the metro station entrance, we got all we needed, room was clean, bathroom was very nice, breakfast was ok. receptionist was very nice and the parking next to the hotel was reasonable price for Prague.

I I had a wonderful stay. The hotel kindly allowed me to check in three hours early and even provided a complimentary room upgrade, which was a great start to my trip. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The location was excellent, with the metro station right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to get around the city. View from the room was great. If you enjoy walking, many of the major attractions are also within walking distance, making it a great base for exploring. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.
