From the moment we arrived at Grand Hotel Bohemia, everything was excellent. We received a very warm welcome, and all of the staff were friendly, professional, and very welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and well maintained. Everything in the room was clean and in great condition, and we especially liked that we could open the window and enjoy some fresh air. We also had a nice view. The breakfast was excellent and offered a very good selection. We also really loved the design and decoration of the hotel. It has a beautiful, elegant, and historic atmosphere that gives the property a lot of character. The location is another major advantage. It is very central and within easy reach of many of Prague’s main attractions, restaurants, and shops. The only negative point I would mention is the shower water pressure, which was extremely weak. If the hotel could improve the water pressure, everything else would be excellent.

Exceptional place; very stylish, perfectly maintained, ultra clean, super friendly staff, excellent location, great breakfast buffet.... and I could go on and on... Finally, the view from the room in the 7th floor is amazing! Only detail is the shower, a little bit awkward as it is not very practical, but not a deal breaker.

Location, room size and furniture including two chairs and low table. Mini fridge was handy.

Breakfast was lovely, continental style buffet, but you could order from a Menu also. Breakfast buffet had everything you could want. Room was very comfortable and an overall lovely hotel and experience. Location was exceptional for sight seeing.

Location I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It did not meet the standards I would expect from a five-star property. The only real advantage is its excellent location. The room was only partially renovated. While some areas looked more modern, the wardrobe and the separate toilet were old and outdated, giving the room an inconsistent and worn appearance. The pillow was uncomfortable, and the bathroom had a very high bathtub instead of a walk-in shower, making it inconvenient and potentially unsafe. Another disappointment was the duvet. It was filled with a blend of down and Lyocell fibers rather than being a fully hypoallergenic synthetic duvet. It felt very old and worn. Instead of feeling soft and evenly filled, there were several areas where I could feel hard quill-like parts inside the duvet rather than soft down, making it uncomfortable to use. During my stay, I developed itching while using it. I asked the staff to provide me only a bedsheet, which they kindly did, but I was cold during the night and could not sleep comfortably. The staff also kindly provided a mosquito repellent device for our room when we requested one, which we appreciated. The soundproofing was extremely poor. You could clearly hear people talking in the hallway, making it difficult to rest. The room layout was also a major design flaw. As soon as the door was opened, the whole bed was directly visible from the corridor. If one guest was resting while the other opened the door, anyone walking by could see directly into the room the whole bed, offering very little privacy. There was not even a single complimentary bottle of water in the room, which is something I would expect from any five-star hotel. The minibar had no price list, so guests had no way of knowing the cost of the items before using them. When asked the day leaving the hotel they said all cost 5€ each. Another detail that I found unhygienic was the placement of the spare toilet paper.

Terrific breakfast with a highly attentive and professional staff. Excellent location - we were a close walk to most all the places we wanted to visit. Beautiful facility and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I’ve already recommended this hotel to friends and family if they ever visit Prague. There is no onsite gym but they will help you find a nearby gym, if desired (we didn’t desire).
