The mattress of the bed was very soft and very uncomfortable... Got a strong back pain. No help with the suitcases up the stairs. Also because there was no stuff to do that. Only women in the hotel as a stuff. The breakfast was so so... Not the healthy breakfast that we are used to.

This is a wonderful hotel that exceeded all my expectations. It is quiet, beautifully maintained, and my room was spacious with high ceilings and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect: on a peaceful street, yet only a two-minute walk from Malostranske Square. Having air conditioning in July was a huge advantage and made my stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and I found the staff very friendly and welcoming. This is the perfect place for me to stay in Prague, and I would happily return.

The location and staff where amazing. The breakfast was very nice.

He let us know which places were safe to change money and where they would scam us. We were impressed. Checkin was smooth. Breakfast was just wonderful. It was a very pretty area. We got tired of walking uphill.

Nothing really important, the hotel is very good. Few points: 1. Cleaning was supposed to be done on a daily basis, but in practice, very little was cleaned. They did not even sweep the floor. 2. We stayed during an extremely hot week, with temperatures reaching 37°C. In such conditions, I would have expected the staff to offer guests free cold water, but nothing like that was provided. 3. The reception closes quite early, so if you need anything later in the day, there is no one available at the hotel. 4. The hotel is located at the end of the street leading to the castle, at the top of a hill. This means you have to climb uphill to get back to the hotel, and there is no public transportation nearby. On an ordinary day this might not be a problem, but during a week of extreme heat it was very inconvenient and exhausting.

Beautiful hotel. There is an elevator, but some rooms require steps.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. The breakfast was great.

The hotel is nice inside and the room was comfortable. The breakfast had a several options and tasted good. They provided a welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The shower water was nice and hot and it was good water pressure. The hotel is in a great location. The only thing we would mention that we didn’t like was the orientation of the shower head, which made it slightly difficult to shower.

Excellent staff - particularly the reception ladies and the chap on the phone (Philip?) who helped me get in after reception closed. Friendly and obliging. Breakfast was good with wide choice. Old style boutique hotel, very close to Prague castle with small supermarkets and cafes beside it. SHort walk to Charles bridge. Room airy, spacious and clean with coffee and tea facilities and stocked fridge. No reception or security evident after 20:00. Everything locked up so you need to be self sufficient after that. Slowest lift in Europe.

Very good

The hotel was perfect. What else can I say? It is a charming Prague hotel in a wonderful area of town. But be prepared to walk up a hill if you’re coming from Newtown.

Gorgeous views from the balcony, spotless, bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! If you want a hotel that is walkable to town this isn’t for you, had no problem getting a Bolt ride for 10 euro to town.

The location is fine. Everything else sucks. Don't stay here. Like seriously! The worst hotel experience I have ever had. We paid a considerable amount for three nights, yet didn’t even stay one. Despite notifying the hotel in advance that we would arrive late, the receptionist was visibly irritated upon our arrival. To make matters worse, although we booked months ahead, the only room “available” was in the basement. While it technically had a window, the overwhelming stench of dampness and mold made it absolutely uninhabitable. The smell was so strong it felt unhealthy to even breathe inside the room. When we raised our concerns, the receptionist was dismissive and made no effort to resolve the situation. Fortunately, we were able to secure another hotel and left immediately — there was no way I would spend a single night in those conditions. In hindsight, I’m genuinely considering reporting this property to the health department. After reading through other negative reviews, I see this is not an isolated issue — some guests are even placed in attic rooms under similarly unacceptable conditions. Do yourself a favor: avoid this place at all costs. Save your money and book a hotel where basic cleanliness, professionalism, and respect for paying guests are actually upheld.

Location, staff, AC unit Pillows, and the bathroom smelled a little

Staff were great, helped me with an early check-in. Stayed here for a wedding. Right on one of the most beautiful streets in Prague, 5mins up to the best lookout of the city. Light switch is confusing! Press and hold to turn on/dim/off.
