Bedroom was comfortable. Room was nice and big. I had a fridge, tv, hairdryer, kettle, desk and chair. They clean room every day which is nice. Bathroom was nice and clean. Although the sink was a bit dirty. There is an elevator which is really good. Location is also really nice becase everything is close. I had to pay more if I wanted a room with AC-air conditioning. Internet was low quality-signal and speed. Room was a bit dusty when I arrived. Only one day (I was there for 4 nights during week) there was someone at the reception. I had to go to other hotel to pick up the card for room and had to wait for 20min to check in even tho I was there in time, but if I wanted to check in earlier they said I can for additional charge. There is a tax you pay on check in that was not mentioned 20 euros. Price of Hotel is very expensive considering there is no meals included. Hotel with 3 stars should have reception available 24h and that was not the case. They do not have all the services hotel with 3 stars in EU should have. No nets on windows so bugs can get in. Road in front of the Hotel is messy, full of holes and broken. You have to be carefull not to fall and hurt yourself as I did. Also no first aid or anything in the room as 3 star hotel should have. Addition: I double checked and additional taxes were not mentioned also in the invoice it says I was charged for city taxes 8 euros. Also about the road, your part of the road to the entrance is also not in best condition. You can always complain to city to fix the road for the tourism purposes since you pay taxes to them.

Room was impressive. Clean and big. Breakfast was okay. But the underground dining place I did not like ans serving on high counter was not unreachable for children.

THe staff was nice and helpful. Rooms were clean although quite spartan. Hotel Otar has seen it's better days. Lot of things are broken or falling apart. The parking is not really a parking. There was some kind of disco somewhere nearby playing loud music through the night.

Breakfast was fantastic in both quality and variety. Room was immaculately clean. Anyone wanting not-fancy lodgings very close to the underground would be wise to stay here. After an overnight flight, the 3pm check-in was challenging, but I understand that staffing makes it necessary.

Be aware that in the evenings check in is in another hotel and they do not always notify about it

For 2 people travelling it has good value, one highlight is the location, right around the corner you have the tram station and subway station to move around easily. The staff was also very helpful but at the same time a bit confusing, more details on what I didn't like We received a message a day prior that we would be receiving our key card at another hotel which was nearby. It was uncomfortable since we had to carry our luggage from one hotel to the next to do our check in. But the staff in the other hotel was super helpful. Room was ok but bathroom, especially shower was a bit dirty for my taste

The location has a tram stop outside and the parking was available although at a price. It was clean but missing basic facilities. The reception desk was not working for 1.5 days , there was no hot water and was managed by nearby Oya hotel and thus had to call them everytime something was needed. There is no AC which we had not checked but also no fan available. The reception girl tried to in late evening but the staff from Oya was rude and said not my problem. If only some basic things can be fixed then it can be a good option to stay. Especially in this hot summer

The location is great is right near with the subway C line within five minutes of walk which takes you to the center. The rooms are big enough, and there was a fridge that kept everything super cold, which was a bonus on these hot days. The check in even though it was easy if you’re arriving late past 11 o’clock at night, you’ll have to go to another hotel, which is nearby around 7 to 10 minutes of walking to get the key and do the check-in and then walk right to your hotel. But when you’re arriving that late in your new or for the first time in Prague, this is just too tiring. Another bad thing that I would mention which was not really a dealbreaker, but kind of feel weird. It was the smell of the room. I think it’s because they use carpets in the room and when their room is closed, they kind of release this smell, which seems like old wood or clothes or mold or something like that, but if you open the windows for a little bit, it clears up. Also, for my stay of three days I never really saw anyone at the reception desk in our hotel but that might’ve just been because I woke up and walked out early and then just came back late.

clean, cozy hotel :) very friendly staff

The smallest TV I have ever seen in a hotel room, hidden in a corner. Not a problem, as I was not here for watching TV, but still...

Hotel charges it’s guests a fee for the late check-in
