Beautiful authentic location next to monastery with great views. Staff was pleasant, breakfast was great and bed were very comfortable. Really not about the hotel but if you are walking be ready for a workout walking back up the hill on Uvoz, but this is the price for the amazing views.

The so called parking basically does not exist uou pay extra for parking which they informed you of, but only has limited number and trying to get standard 4 dr sedan was difficult.
-
Very old furniture and appliance The room wasn't clean although it had daily service
-
Location was spectacular near Prague Castle and Strahov Cloisters. There were a couple of great restaurants nearby and an easy 20 minute walk into Prague city center. Staff was very nice and helpful Cleaning products had a bit of a strong smell
-
The location was very good and the room was spacious. I liked the arrangement of the furnitures inside. The temperature control was not working. So, It was cold inside the room. The staff interactions lacked warmth and politeness.
-
Nice location, good room and bed, good breakfast. Some airco's make some noise; internet was not sometimes intermittently available.

perfect location to get the Prague Castle

We went there before thinking it would be the same, but it changed completely. I don’t know if management changed but it wasn’t the same The staff was extremely rude and I didn’t get the room I wanted. We had wanted the room that have the slanted walls and the phenomenal bathroom but I ended up getting a completely different room which was completely unsatisfactory. I needed a shower that was even with the floor and ended up with a bathtub which didn’t work with my physical limitations. We tried changing rooms but the staff was too busy with having a personal conversation to even notice that we were standing there for quite some time. We wanted to eat dinner there one night and we waited over 15 minutes for any acknowledgment. We ended up going somewhere else to eat. Very disappointed and will not recommend any more people to use your hotel

The best part of our stay was breakfast- I really didn't miss anything. The choice was great and everything was fresh and tasty. They even had tasty filtered coffee?. Also the bed was very comfortable and the staff was nice. We asked the hotel in advance to reserve a parking in the yard for us, because we have a big car. They confirmed, but when we arrived, everything was full (since the yard is small). In reality, they forgot to reserve it. Since we didn't fit into the garage, we had to squeeze our car next to the hotel wall, while blocking 1 car in front of us. And still pay for it the full price of 34 euros. We decided then to eat in the restaurant, but the food was a slight disappointment as regards the poor choice, the portion size and the price. The waiter was very nice though and at the end we got 10% discount. We booked 2 rooms, since we were a family with 2 kids. They put us on the same floor, but very far from each other. Which wouldn't be an issue, just that my husband and I got a connection room and the connection door wasn't soundproof at all, so we could hear our (most probably American) neighbour in the room next to us talking on the phone in some work related meetings until 1:00 am.

Nothing special Staff was really slow in serving dinners, unpleasant when I asked for Laundry service, electricity was shutdown during the peak of the day (afternoon) for 1 hour, room cards did not work, etc.

Very dry air/rooms which caused nose bleeds in some of us. When ordering room service, they charge you ~4 euros just to get the food up. Best to go down and collect the food yourself.
-
Beautiful location near charming Strahov monastery and Petrin park with nice views on the castle and whole Prague. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Airconditioning in standard single room was too noisy. Even after switching it totally off, some additional sound from distance of air tubes could be heard. Bit disturbing for relaxing and sleeping. Parking too expensive (34 Eur/night).
